Authentic Assessment Tool: Demonstration and Exhibition of the “Building our Dream House
Project”.
Following the GRASPS MODEL:
Goal: The students will be able to apply the concept in Geometric shapes and sizes in creating
a project of their dream house.
Role: The group of students will act as an engineer and some members will also act as a
designer.
Audience: The teacher and the other classmates. The project will be presented to them after
they finished it.
Situation: The class will be equally divided into two. Each group are assigned to make their
ideal dream house applying their essential knowledge in the Geometric shapes and sizes. They
will have an exhibition and demonstration of their dream house project and design. They must
be accurate and familiar to the concepts they’re applied for it will presented to their teacher
and other classmates.
Product: The students are expected to make an ideal dream house design applying geometric
shapes and sizes.
Standards: The students will be graded based on the accuracy, creativity, application of the
geometric concepts and the design of the house.

RUBRICS.

SCORE CRITERIA
4 Exceeded in the fines aspects to get a better outcome. The shapes and
figures used is in excellent form. Student went above and beyond to finish
the work with 100% effort.
3 Gave some special details in construction such as painting and materials.
The shapes and figures used is in good form. Student gave 75% effort in
completing construction.
2 Gave minimum effort in details of the output. The shapes and figures used
is in fair form. Student gave 50% effort in completing the construction.
1 Gave an effort in details or did not finish the project. Seemed to have been
done on a hurry.
