Zeal Gas Flow Meters are designed for a wide
variety of applications where ease of use and
accuracy is essential. They are tolerant of a multiplicity
of gases, require very little maintenance, and
cover flow ranges from as low as 0.016L/min to
200L/min. Because of their high accuracy these
meters are often used as secondary reference
standards for audit purposes. Shaft encoders
and Digital Decoders are available as optional
extras.
Typical areas of use include: Gas fired appliance testing,
Refineries and Offshore, Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences,
and Medical Research.

Certification: Works - UKAS - Calibration Carriage/Packing/Payment Terms/Credits/Cancellations

CARRIAGE/PACKING CHARGES

UK - Excluding ROI, IOW and IOM which are subject to quote at time of enquiry.
■ All forwarding and packaging is charged for as agreed with the Sales department.
EXPORT
■ Packing, freight and documentation are all quoted for prior to acceptance of an order.

PAYMENT TERMS

For the continued confidence in the accuracy of measurement, and to assist in compliance with current
legislation, it is recommended that a certificate of calibration is obtained when the instrument is purchased
and that re-certification takes placed at 12 monthly intervals.
Zeal are able to offer either Works, or UKAS Certified Calibration Certificates issued by their
independent calibration laboratory CIS who are a UKAS accredited organisation. In the United Kingdom
UKAS is the body responsible for assessing and accrediting organizations in the fields of measurement, testing,
inspection and certification of products, systems and personnel.
Certification is available for the majority of our Temperature, Density, Humidity, Pressure and Flow products:
• Wet test Gas Flow Meters
• Liquid-in-glass thermometers
• Hydrometers
• Dial type temperature indicators
• Temperature recorders, sensors, digital thermometers PT100’s
• Pressure Gauges
UKAS calibration certificates can be provided for:
• Temperature instrumentation between -80°C to +255°C with a 0.02°C uncertainty and from +265°C
to +410°C with a 0.1°C uncertainty.
• Hydrometers to UKAS standard within a range of 500 kg/m3 to 2000 kg/m3 (or equivalent) with best
measurement capability from 0.05 kg/m3.
• Pressure instrumentation within a range of 30”HG vacuum and 0 to 700 bar.
• Humidity from 5-50°C and 10-95% RH.
■ Minimum order value = £30.00 net of any discount & exclusive of packaging/carriage and VAT.
■ In the case of credit accounts these are established on the basis of payment within 30 days of
the date of invoice (Unless otherwise agreed with the Sales Department).
■ Where Cash in Advance is required a Pro-forma Invoice will be sent to you and we can accept
payment by either: Cheque, Visa, Mastercard or cash (latter payable at our premises only).
■ Work is commenced only when payment terms are mutually agreed.
■ Where partial credits are issued and replacement invoices issued the payment date will be
taken as the date of the original invoice.
■ All terms of payment are subject to agreement by the Sales Department.
EXPORT
■ All prices are ex works. FOB, CIF and C&F are extra.
■ Minimum order value = £250.00 net of any discount & exclusive of packing/carriage.
■ In the case of credit accounts these are established on the basis of payment within 30 days of
the date of invoice (Unless otherwise agreed with the Sales Department).
■ All prices are quoted in Pounds Sterling (GBP) unless otherwise agreed with the Sales Department.
■ Payment can be made in GBP, US$ or € Euro, negotiated prior to invoice being raised.
■ Acceptable methods of payment are: Bankers Draft, Telegraphic Transfer, Visa, Mastercard, Sight Draft.
■ Irrevocable Letters of Credit must be Drawn on a London Bank in our Favour.
Letters of Credit are subject to a service charge of £600.00 and a Minimum Order Value of £10,000.00.
■ Certificates of Origin Legalised by the London Chamber of Commerce are charged at GBP £75.00 per invoice.
■ Invoices Legalised by the London Chamber of Commerce are charged at GBP £60.00 per invoice.
CREDIT NOTES
■ Credits are only issued with the agreement of the Sales Department.
■ Application for credit notes must be supported in writing, either by letter, fax or e-mail stating clearly the reasons for
the credit note request.
■ Credits for goods damaged in transit will ONLY be issued if the goods are:
Signed for as damaged upon receipt and we receive notification within 7 days of the goods leaving our premises.
CANCELLATIONS
■ Cancellation of order (either in part or whole) will only be accepted in writing.
■ Subject to the nature of the products involved and work undertaken, a cancellation charge may be made.
