Heart beat detector

Summary:

Heart attack, cardiac arrest and other cardiovascular diseases have remained a major health
concern around the world, but it is only recently that a rising number cardiovascular problems
among the younger population are being diagnosed and reported. While doctors and medical
professionals are yet to find conclusive answers to such occurrences, they have somehow
decoded a few factors that could be leading to it. When the blood flow to the heart is suddenly
blocked due to the formation of plaques, an outcome of fatty deposits, including cholesterol, the
coronary arteries can narrow down, leading to a heart attack. That said, most heart attacks can
be fatal and therefore, they need immediate medical care as and when they occur and it will
lead to dead.

Objective:

In this project we have used Heart beat sensor module to detect Heart Beat. This sensor
module contains an IR pair which
actually detect heart beat from blood.
Heartpumps the blood in body which is called heart beat, when it happens the blood
concentration in body changes. And we use this change to make a voltage or pulse electrically.
Modern heart rate monitors commonly use one of two different methods to record heart signals
(electrical and optical). Both types of signals can provide the same basic heart rate data, using
fully.automated algorithms to measure heart rate, such as the Pan-Tompkins algorithm.
