Chengli: Alternate Ending

Chengli couldn't let Meiling get married to a guy she barely knows. He knew he had to

act fast; it would take 3 weeks to get to the palace because of the newly invented safeway for

horse riders. His journey began, off to go find the princess… again.

Chengli got his horse saddled up and rode on the safe way, meeting many new people he

eventually made his way to the palace.

Meiling had just turned 15 and she was marrying 23 year old King Galdan, she was to

marry him 4 years ago but the wedding had to be delayed due to medical difficulties. Chengli got

to the palace and went through the town until he got to the palace, Chengli look around to make

sure there were no guards. Chengli carefully snuck up behind the palace where Meiling might be

preparing for the wedding.

While he was sneaking around he wandered into the dungeon of the palace where he

found at least fifty innocent people trapped with no food or water, just a bucket as a washroom

and wood board as a bed. Chengli kept walking around the dongen until he saw Amah at the very

end of the tunnel wasting away.

“Amah! What on earth are you doing here? ” Chengli shouted.

The guards had heard Chengli and came running down to the dungeon. “We need to get out of

here and fast.” Chengli took the keys to the cells off the hook by the entrance and let Amah free.

“Hurry amah!” The guards were halfway there, Chengli picked up Amah and carried her to a

dark corner of the dungeon where he hid with Amah.

The guards noticed that Amah was gone, so they set off looking for her. They turned and

left the dungeon but they had put one guard to watch if anyone tries to release more prisoners.
 “Come on, we need to go now quickly, before they come back.” Chengli whispered.

He took Amah to the town’s local Inn and got her a room for the price of 5 copper coins for the

one night. “Stay here and wait for me to come back and get some rest, there is food and water on

the end table.” He left the Inn cautiously making sure no one saw him bring her in there.

‘Now where is Princess Meiling?’ Chengli thought. “Are you new around here servant

boy?” An unfamiliar voice said from an alleyway.

“Who are you to call me a servant boy when you didn't even show yourself to me?”

Chengli asked confedentaly.

“Oh excuse my bad manners.” The stranger walked out of the alleyway and showed

themself to chengli. “I am Nevi, the caretaker of the soon to be queen.”

“So your name is Nevi, I better introduce myself to you as well. I am Chengli, son of

inspector chao.”

“I need a favor, you say you are the princesses caretaker yes? I need to see her, she is an

old friend of mine.” Nevi brought Chengli to the princess, putting full trust in Chengli.

Chengli opened the door and snuck inside the room of the princess, he had found meiling

inside of her bathroom getting ready for the wedding. ‘THE WEDDING!’ Chengli had forgotten

about the wedding, it was going to start in half an hour! Chengli knocked on the door of the

bathroom and called to meiling. “Who is it?” Meiling asked while she was opening the door.

“Chengli! Oh I've missed you so much!” Meiling ran and hugged chengli.

“I've found Amah, she was in the dungeon of the king!” Chengli spoke cautiously.

“This whole time I have been worried about amah wondering where she was and she ended up

being right under me.” Meiling spoke quickly.

“I had a bad feeling about him!” Chengli took meiling and ran over to where Amah was
and lucky she was still there.

“What happened to you I thought you were dead?” Meiling asked worriedly.

“Well, after i was taken by the bandits the king found me and called me beautiful then told me to

marry him. I had declined because you were to marry him, he threw me in his prison saying I

was a disgrace.” Amah said while she looked out the window.

“You need to go confront the king.” Chengli told Meiling. “But how? He will just send

all of us to the dungeon.” Meiling asked.

“I have a plan.” Chengli said as he was explaining the plan.

Meiling took amah to her room and went to get married to the king, Phase one of chengli’s plan

had been started. The ceremony started and Chengli was behind it waiting for the signal. Meiling

And king Galdan said their vows and got married and as Meilings first decree as Queen is that

Galdan be punished for his crimes, Meiling explained the whole thing and signaled for chengli to

go to her as he did. The crowd agreed with her decision and it was brought to court. They

claimed Galdan guilty and he was sentenced to the dungeon.

Three Years later, Queen Meiling got married to King Chengli, they had Nevi and Amah

be second hands to the throne if either dies. Meiling and Chengli have three children, Misan the

oldest, Mei the middle child, and Yingqi the youngest. Yingqi became an inspector, Mei chose to

become a artisan making crafts and arts for townspeople and merchants, Misan became a farmer

caring for plants and animals is his specialty.

The dynasty of Chao grew and grew until the new world of today.
