If you could go anywhere in the world where would you go? Why?

Travelling is certinly one of the best ways to meet new people, see new places and get new experiences and one of
the best ways to enrich your life. In the future, I hope to have a chance to dedicate a year of my life to just
travelling around the world. To be honest, I haven’t had a chance to travel a lot so I would like to travel anywhere
but if I could visit any place in the world, here are the ones I would choose:
Firstly, I would go to one of the most famous destination of all tourists – Hawaii. Hawaii also called as “Aloha
state” are the fiftieth USA state in the centre of the Pacific Ocean. Some of the interesting facts about this country
are that the beaches here exist in whatever colors you can imagine, black, white, red and even green, if you decline
to wear a flower wreath, it is considered a great insult and uncivilized behavior, when meeting, but also when
saying goodbye, people do not shake hands, but always hug. Hawaii, apart from its’ gorgeous landscapes and
beaches have a very unique culture, which is a combination of native Hawaiian tradition, American and East Asian
influences. Hawaii is also a country that is constantly growing. Thanks to volcanic activity, the Hawaiian mainland
is annually larger in area by 1-2 km2.
The next place I would like to visit is New York. The city of New York is the most populated city in the united
states, also known as „the city that never sleeps“ or „the capital of the world“. Before European colonization, this
country was home to Native Americans. The most famous atractions are: The statue of liberty which is 46 meters
high, Central Park with the Belvedere Castle, Times Square, Empire State building which is 381 meters tall and so
on. New York City is considered one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
Finally, one of the places i would like to include is the Libreria Acqua Alta which is a library in Venice where the
books are actually kept in gondolas. The books are for sale but also used as furniture, just like the staircase made
by old encyclopaedias. There are also 4 cats that sleep between the printed papers. This is one of the most beautiful
and unique libararies in the world.
