The difference between the two terms is that
◦RESPONSIBILITY involves having authority over
one’s actions.
◦ACCOUNTABILITY means you are liable or
answerable for one’s actions. In order to be
responsible, you must be accountable and vice
versa.

1.Payment of Taxes, Salaries and Wages→ The government
also requires entrepreneurs to pay Phil health, Social
Security, taxes out of employee wages for each employee
working their business.

An entrepreneurs are responsible to pay in their employees


with the minimum hourly wage set by the government
including overtime pay, sick leave and bonuses.

Entrepreneurs is accountable for the safety of the
employees, so they ensure that the physical
environment is safe and well-maintained with good
lighting, proper temperature and enough space for

which include taxes on revenue and tariffs on imported
products.

Means→ Entrepreneurs should not seek political

should not take any type of favor from government

◦ Give Correct Information→ Entrepreneurs should be
provided with correct information about the company
to enable them to decide about further investment.
◦ Follow Mortgage Rules→ Creditors provide loans in
secured and unsecured forms. If the creditor has
provided the secured loan on the mortgaged property,
the entrepreneur should follow the rules of mortgaged
property.

◦ Follow Business Ethics→ Both the entrepreneurs and
creditors should follow the business ethics in providing
loans and in repayment of loans. The loan procedures
should be honestly complied with.

regularly, according to repayment conditions.

◦ Practice Fair Pricing and Licensing→ Companies must seek
fairness and truthfulness in all dealings with suppliers especially
pricing and licensing.
◦ Avoid Coercion and Litigation→ Companies should make
certain that any business transaction with suppliers must be free
from any form of coercion and unnecessary litigation.
◦ Maintain Stability→ Firms must promote long-term stability in
their relationship with the suppliers to pay back the goods value,
quality and reliability they granted.

◦ Inform about Changes in Market→ Entrepreneurs have the
responsibility to provide regular information to the suppliers
regarding changes happening in the demand of the commodities in
domestic or in foreign markets, so that the suppliers may make
necessary changes in their manufacturing projects, according to the
requirements.
◦ Give Guarantee of Minimum Price → The entrepreneurs should give
the guarantee of minimum prices to the suppliers so that they may
feel assured about the certainty of the price and may continue to
maintain their will power.
