that have received the best and the most
reviews are rewarded with Qviro Badges.
We put brands in the spotlight that build
amazing products and offer good support.
Even though some of them spend less budget
on marketing efforts, the world deserves to
know which brands are worth it.
Who Are The Reviewers?
No, the Qviro team does not write the
reviews, because we don't want the reviews
to be based on superficial experience in a test
environment.
We give the mic to engineers with real
applications in production. Programmers who
spent months with the technology. PhD
students who spend years to get to know the
boundaries and possibilities.
Suppliers and distributors are not allowed to
write reviews because of the conflict of
interest.
End users,
integrators and
academics have
relevant experience
and provide
unbiased feedback.
Every review is validated by the team to make
sure only the most thrustworthy information

Then How Do We Make Money?
Some of the suppliers pay us for intelligence
reports. The reports help them understand
their users and help them understand how to

The brands Universal Robots, ABB, and Kinova have the biggest representation in our
research based on the number of collected reviews.

Results
Users find cobots easy to use and they are satisfied with the promised requirements but are less
satisfied with the quality of support and documentation, and the price. An explanation for this
could be that cobots are a relatively new technology and when the technology becomes more
mature, the documentation and support will become more mature, and the price will drop as the
technology will become more of a comodity.

Industrial end users stick with more basic cobot applications like pick and place, and machine
loading.

Cobot projects are still a lot of one-off projects, experimentation, trying applications rather than big
roll-outs of the technology.

According to users, the average payback time of a cobot project is 19 months.

The average implementation time of an industrial end user is 50% more than for a system
integrator. Considering that industrial end-users implement less-complex applications. For equally
complex applications the difference in implementation time would be even bigger.
