FIRST TERM PROJECT: A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ONLINE STUDENT POSTER

A. GROUP PART: Our ideal timetable

1. Go to Student´s book page 22 and do activities 1, 2, 3, 4 (THINK)

2. PLAN
a. In your group, make notes about your ideal school timetable.
Don´t make a quick decision.
List the advantages and disadvantages. Think about them before you decide.

b. Think about:
-the time of the school day - when it starts and finishes.
-the number of minutes for each lesson.
-the school subjects that you want to study.

3. CREATE
In your notebook, prepare a timetable for a week of classes.
Write sentences about your school timetable. Explain your decisions.

B. INDIVIDUAL PART: Some information about myself

1. Write a text giving information about yourself. You should include the following:

-Basic introduction of yourself: name, age, where you are from (30 words)
-Physical description (30 words)
-Information about family: parents, brothers and sisters, pets, … (30 words)
-Information about school (can be taken from the writing you did in class)
(30 words)
-What do you usually do after school? (homework, extra lessons, sports…)
(30 words)
-Hobbies: what do you like doing in your free time? (30 words)

You can also draw a picture of yourself …

C. LET´S PUT EVERYTHING TOGETHER!!!

1. Put all the information above (timetable and writings) together and make a poster.
Make it attractive and interesting!
Remember to give it a title.

2. SHOW
Take photos of your poster and upload them to Classroom.
Make sure you include everyone´s name.

3. PRESENT
Work with the rest of the class. Take turns to present your timetable in class
and/or record a video and upload it to Classroom.

4. TIME ALLOWED: 3/4 hours

5. MARK: 10 (individual writing, poster and photos)


If any of the parts are missing, you´ll fail the project.
