Animal Testing

Even though the technology is developed, there are still some methods of testing some products in
scientific research which are unacceptable. Unfortunately, testing on animals is still in use.
Those innocent animals are mistreated to see how some toxic chemicals react to them, so most of
them die. Each year, it is estimated that more than 50 million dogs, cats, monkeys, rabbits, rats, and
other animals are forced to endure painful experiments.
Humans and animals are very different, so outdated animal experiments often don’t accurately
show how the human body will respond to drugs, chemicals, or treatments. There are modern
methods that don't rely on animals. They are typically faster, less expensive, and more accurate than
outdated animal experiments.
Some companies don’t use this outdated method anymore. They put an image with a rabbit on
their packaging to show that they are cruelty-free. If more companies implement this change, the
animals would be safer.
In conclusion, testing on animals should be banned, because the animals suffer from experiments
that are not accurate.
