A narrative essay is a type of essay that tells a story or talks about a personal experience.

The goal of a
narrative essay is to share a message or lesson by using storytelling, instead of just giving information.

When you write a narrative essay, you usually start with an introduction that sets the scene and gives
some background information about the story. Then you tell the story in order from beginning to end,
using details that appeal to the senses (like what things looked, sounded, smelled, tasted or felt like) to
help the reader imagine what happened.

A good narrative essay should have interesting characters, a setting, a plot, and a problem or conflict to
keep the reader interested. The most exciting part of the story, called the climax, is where things get
really intense. After that, the story should have a resolution or conclusion that helps the reader
understand the message or lesson.

Narrative essays are usually written using the first-person point of view (which means using words like
"I" and "me" to talk about yourself), so the reader can connect with the writer's personal experience.
