Introduction

In the following document, some of the units of measurement that we use during this
stage will be presented, which are mass, volume, length, weight, and temperature, each
of which has different instruments for its measurement. We will only mention a few,
although it is important to recognize what measurement is: Measurement is a basic
process of science that is based on comparing a selected unit of measure with the object
or phenomenon whose physical magnitude is to be measured, to find out how many times
the unit is contained in that magnitude.

With this small definition we get an idea of what it is going to deal with, we have a
hypothesis of what is going to happen with each of the objects, but we still need to verify
each of the objects since it will be analyzed during the report.

Results

Lenght measuring

Object to measure Pencil Cell phone

Instrument Square Square

Procedure the pencil was placed on a flat The same procedure was carried
surface to measure it without out with the cell phone since they
margin of error are not large objects, and they
were measured without any
problem
Photographs

Results 18. 2 14.5

Volume measuring

Object to measure container with water and strawberry Cup with wáter and eraser

Instrument Measuring cup Mesauring cup

Procedure for this table it was very interesting an eraser was added to a container
because in addition to the water, an with 170 ml, it changed its value by
object was added inside to analyze 30 ml
how much volume the substance
added
Photographs

Results Without strawberry = 170 ml Without eraser= 170 ml

With strawberry= 210 ml With eraser= 200 ml

Weigth measuring

Object to measure Potato Apple

Instrument Electronic scales Electronic scales

Procedure a potato was placed on the scale An apple was placed on the scale
and the result was reflected starting at zero and I waited for
seconds later the result to be reflected

Photographs

Results 0.430 kg 0.204 kg

Mass measuring

Object to measure thermos Notebook

Instrument Balances Balances

Procedure the thermos was placed on the the balance was placed in zero so
scale to reflect the results as not to affect the results, then I
obtained put a normal notebook and it
reflected .273 kg

Photographs

Results 0.547 kg 0.273 kg

Conclusion

the activity that we carried out was very helpful for many of us since we were seeing
different instruments, in the same way, we consider this topic of great importance since it
is used in daily life in different ways

It was very interesting to measure each object because many measuring instruments
were used and each one works in a different way. In the case of temperature, it was a bit
more complicated to find another instrument to measure apart from the thermometer, so
we used it to measure two different objects in that In the case of humans, it was also a
bit confusing when measuring mass and weight because they are very similar to our point
of view.
