SUBJECT : Sport Report re Shooting Incident
DATE : February 18, 2023
1. At about 1:00 A.M. of February 18, 2023 (Saturday), a shooting incident
occurred at Barangay Buscada Basey, Samar victimizing Ronil Patrick Regala
y Macauba, 22 years old, male, single, and a resident of Barangay Bacubac
Basey, Samar.

2. Initial investigation conducted by responding police officers disclosed that a

certain Symon Bacoto y Pagambunan (friend of the victim), who was inside
their house across the waiting shed, alleged that the victim was at the waiting
shed beside the National Highway when minutes later, they heard several
gunshots fired, when they verified, they saw the victim lying on the ground
wounded and saw a motorcycle riding in tandem fleeing from the scene with a
hand gun being held by the backrider.

3. Victim sustained two (2) gunshot wounds on the left side of his chest resulting
in his immediate death from unidentified motorcycle riding in tandem.
Recovered at the crime scene were: one (1) empty shell of cal. 9mm, one (1)
empty shell of cal. 45, and one (1) slug of 9mm.

4. The motive of the incident is undetermined and the case is still under
investigation.
