1. Therefore, how to make the test more valid, more reliable and practical?

Validity

Give a test of what you (the teacher) taught and expect students to know, example :

 Test writing with questions that match what you (teacher) teach where students have
sufficient background knowledge. For example, the teacher makes questions about gap
sentences regarding giving an expression and the students complete them.

Reliability

The tests we create must produce the same results for similar groups of students and with different
assessments of people.

 Use simple and easy-to-understand instructional language, along with examples.

 Using language like you (the teacher) used to use in class when teaching, so as not to
confuse students.
 Ask your colleagues to do the test that you made earlier as evaluation material.
 Avoid tests that are too long or too long that result in fatigue and anxiety for students.

Practicality

Tests should be easy to design, easy to administer, and easy to score.

 Tests must be in accordance with student ability standards and not burden parents of
students. For example, the test does not use costs that are too expensive, high-priced items,
and so on.
 The display of the test should be uncluttered and easy to follow and understand.
 The test is carried out within the right and appropriate time limits.
 Designed to be easy to manage.
 Procedures for evaluating test results must be specific and time-efficient.

So an efficient and good test must include three characteristics of a good test, such as reliability,
validity and practicality
