TYPE OF THE LESSON: fixation of knowledge and of developing skills and abilities

LESSON AIMS:
 to provoke Ss to use words and phrases they have been learning recently;
 to practice the First Conditional;
 to watch PPT presentations regarding First Conditional;
 to solve some worksheets using First Conditional.

At the end of the lesson the Ss will be able to:


- identify First Conditional structures and to know the rules of using First Conditional ;
- complete tasks after listening a song;
- use the English language to discuss about their future plans;
- complete exercises from their textbook. .

Teacher's activity: T greets the Ss, starts a short friendly conversation, the T asks the date, notes
the Ss missing
Ss’ activity: Ss answer T’s questions
Subsidiary aim: to create a relaxed work atmosphere

- Activity 2: Introducing the topic (10min)

Teacher's activity: T starts the lesson by presenting Ss` some examples of conditional sentences.
T asks Ss the main rules of using First Conditional. T writes on the flip-chart the examples/rules
and shows them a video with other examples. The video is discussed in the classroom.

- Activity 3: Listening a song (25min)


Teacher's activity: T asks Ss to listen a song of Bruno Mars- Count on me. T gives Ss` some
worksheets with different tasks based on the song. T uses the song with lyrics for a better
understanding of the meaning of the text.

- Activity 4: Practice with First Conditional (10min)


Teacher's activity: T asks Ss to complete exercises from the textbook. Ss have to choose the
correct words and to write the correct form of First Conditional.

- Assigning homework: Finish the exercises from their textbook.
