1: Before we start, these are the ingredients that we need in cooking spicy pork adobo.
2: Let’s just light up the stove first, I used a match because our stove is broken. And just set the fire to medium heat.
3: Le’s just wait until the frying pan is heated. When it’s already hot, we can now put the cooking oil. Now let’s
sauté the pork meat.
Put the garlic first and wait until it turns to golden brown and don’t let it burn. Then, add the onions and stir a little.
Now let’s put the pork meat to the frying pan. Just put it gently so that the oil won’t splattered. And then stir it so
that the meat won’t stick to the frying pan co’z we’re not using non-sticky frying pan. Just continue to stir until it
will look like this.
Let’s turn the heat up a little bit so that the water will reduce quickly. When it’s look like this, we can now add our
spices, let’s put the soy sauce, oyster sauce (then just scratch it so that there will be no waste), next is the pepper
and laurel, stir a little then put the vinegar and sugar. I added 2 tbsp of soy sauce because it looks pale (so I totally
used 4 tbsp of soy sauce) Stir it again and add the two cups of water, anyway its up to you if how much water you
want to add.
4: After that, let’s just cover it and wait to boil. I add pork cubes here because I want to add more flavor but its up
to you if you prefer to add cubes or not.
And then let’s just cover it again and wait until it boils. After a couple of minutes, its look like this now, and we can
add now the chopped long chili and chili labuyo.
I added it early so that the pork will absorb the spiciness of the chili. Cover it up again and wait. Now, lets stir it
again until it will look like this, as you can see the broth reduced and it’s almost cooked.
Let’s add the whole long chili now for the toppings and cook it a little. Now I can smell the delicious aroma of our
pork adobo. And finally, we’re done.
5: Let’s just transfer it to a plate. While transferring this, I just want say that thank you for all of your support guys.
