I didn't know the importance of National Service Training Program until I made unexpected and precious

memories.

Having National Service Training Program subject isn't about cleaning on

the streets just to have high grades but also being able to learn the deep
and real reason why we must have that subject--it's to know and learn
that small good deed can have a big effect in our community.

We didn't just clean our designated place but we also learned life lesson
that we couldn't learn through other subjects.

First, status in life is not an exemption when serving the

country. National Service Training Program doesn't favor
anyone.
The poor and the rich must serve the country equally. We
are all living in the same place thus we must also preserve
it together wholeheartedly and without having to be told.

Second, it served as an eye-opener not just to me but also for

everyone that as a citizen of this country, we must all engage
ourselves in the community. I was once a citizen who
overlooks at the things in her surroundings but now I finally
realized the importance of giving a hand in helping the society
to improve with small little things.
A simple picking of trash, following road signs and voting the
right person in a right position is already a contribution and a
step in being involve in a community.

Third, teamwork and cooperation is really a key to complete a task quickly. Though we didn't have a really wide area
to clean, I would still say that we were able to finish
cleaning our designated area quickly with the help of
everyone and all the tools that we brought. I learned how
to socialize with other people and expose myself to the
community as we do our challenging tasks.

Lastly, I learned the importance of cleaning. Our area was

once a place I just passed by every time I go to my class
however every time I look at it now, it looks different as it
holds a part of my memory that I would treasure until the
end of my life. I was able to realize that cleaning is not just a
part of our life but also a step in making our society healthy
and beautiful. Cleaning is essential and therefore we must
make it a habit as it helps us as an individual to be better and
our daily life to improve.

Cleaning under the heat of sun was not a bad idea at all for we were able to clean and also interact with other people.
We cleaned, talked, laughed, joked around and most importantly we finished cleaning properly without any
complain.
It was a tiring task nonetheless the feeling of fulfillment and happiness every time we clean the whole place is
priceless. I feel proud every time I was able to clean in the community and I was so thankful because it increased my
achievements in life. Thanks to National Service Training Program because I was able to check one of my bucket list.
