"There's something about me"

My life has been a maze

Twisting and turning without haste,

I am appreciative, passionate, modest.

Strong woman, independent, cannot be taken for granted.

Yes sometimes tactless, insane, reckless, but still finesse,

Not your "typical girl", I don't dress cool to impress.

My mom said, I must explore the beauty of being "simple",

The essence of being pure, just and being humble.

So I stay simple, undecorated rather being fancy,

For I believe, it's how you can appreciate every one's real beauty.

You can tell me I'm lousy,

Coz my being seems absurd

Don't tell me I'm hot or cool,

Just think of my worth.

Don't flatter my feminine side,

Compliment is a better ride.

But watch out with your honesty,

For liars have no place in me.

Don' tell me that you love me,

At least not at this time.

You have to know me further,

In a couple of moments, it will be fine.

I'm not like the other girls,

Not after chocolates or roses.

I think I don't have a stunning face not even in a glance,

That you may bid for a first dance.

Of course, I'm the kindest, sweetest, most pleasing girl you can be with,

A friend, sister, your uplifter indeed.

And because I'm a sensual girl, you have to understand me,

Accept me and I’ll be forever trustworthy.
