ASTERO uC BASED AUTOMATIC UF CONTROL PANEL (LCD DISPLAY V 5.0) ASTERO UF NG+ PANEL FILTRA CONSULTANTS AND ENGINEERS LTD. fo [Automation Philosophy: ‘The control pane! s designed to operate a UF system automatically. All the steps hrappen sequentially after the set timings. One can configure two counters after any step jwhich would initiate the Step sequence defined. All step timings are settable at jte(Password 345) For example, one has programmed 3 steps viz FORWARD FLUSH, BACKWASH CROSS FLOW & default step is SERVICE. Now we can program the controler in suc] way thal each service step is fllowed by a Forward flush. After x number(settable) of uch service-forward flush cycles*, the unit wll o to backwash step. Further after y humiber of backwash cycles unt goes to CROSS FLOW step. One can switch ON/OFF ny output in any step(in password 678) [Note: Incase the dif. Pressure input gets energized before the set number of Iservice-forward fish cycles; the unit wil immediately go into backwash ‘The panel basically can take 5 inputs namely raw water tank level, treated ]water tank level & three auxiliary inputs(which can be configured as DPS- differential bressure switch, TWLOL-treated water tank low low level, RL2,DOSLVL) and controls 11 utputs viz. Raw water pump Backwash pump and 8 valves(solenoidimotorized). The ;dvanced electronic also takes care of requited motor protection such as Overload, dry funning & single phasing ‘Operating logie : Upon switching ON power supply of the panel, level of permeate tank & raw ater tank is OX then unit starts with Default step and continuas with the defined steps. Operation of the panel Starting sequence ‘Once itis started with a particular step, controller will switch ON all the valve O/Ps & ster delay time it wil switch on the pump, Stopping sequence : Under following conditions processor will stop it's operation 4. Ifplants stopped manually 2. If treated water tank ' full (Open). 23. f raw water tank is empty (Shor. Trip sequence : Under folowing conditions processor wil trip, at that time press slart to acknowledge & resume operation 1. Pressure s high. 2. Dosing tank level low. 3. Dry run, Single phasing, Overload. Instructions for Setting the Panel: Use the folowing keys for setting the panel as, per given instructions. > START: This key is used to start the operation and move the curser forward, This key is used increase the value & stop/skip/holdireset tho stop. “+4 MENU: This key is used to go to next step (Enter).
