financial performance over the past five years. Although revenue and profit after taxes
grew from 2018 to 2020, there was a decline in both metrics in 2021 and 2022. The cost
price steadily increased until 2021 before slightly decreasing in 2022. Despite challenges
such as increased competition and changing consumer behavior, Vinamilk achieved 94%
of its revenue plan and 88% of its profit plan in 2022, with total assets of VND 48,843
billion. However, its after-tax profit decreased by 19% compared to the previous year,
falling below VND 10,000 billion for the first time since 2017. Vinamilk may need to
consider strategies to maintain profitability and adapt to changing market conditions.
Despite the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, Vinamilk Group has proven to
be a resilient and reliable choice for consumers and investors alike. By maintaining stable
revenues in the face of economic uncertainty, Vinamilk has established itself as the best
choice in the milk market, demonstrating its unwavering commitment to quality and
excellence.
