Fundación
La Fundación Carlos Slim A.C. que a sus inicios comenzó bajo el nombre de Asociación
Carso A.C fue creada en el año 1986 por el exitoso empresario exitoso Carlos Slim y es
una asociación civil sin fines de lucro que opera en la Ciudad de México con la finalidad
de aportar al desarrollo de la sociedad en diversas áreas como:
1.- Salud, dedicado a la población más vulnerable se encarga de resolver los problemas
de salud en el Instituto Carlos Slim de la Salud, creado en el 2007.

2.- Empleo, por medio de una plataforma digital conocida como Capacítate para el
empleo, se encarga del adiestramiento de cualquier persona sin ninguna limitación para
que se convierta en un emprendedor para la sociedad y/o pueda conseguir un empleo;

3.- Cultura, con el objeto de difundir el arte y la historia Carlos Slim ordenó la construcción
de un museo llamado Soumaya y el Centro de Estudios de Historia de México Carso
4.- Educación, realiza la inversión en la Academia Khan creada por un educador
estadounidense para ser traído a México y dictar cursos gratis en línea.

5.- Desarrollo económico, participo en la revitalización del Centro Histórico del país.

6.- Justicia social, Carlos Slim apoya a aquellos delincuentes de escasos recursos que
son seleccionados por estudios para recibir el beneficio de fianza.

7.- Deporte, presta el apoyo a aquellos atletas que viven en zonas con vulnerabilidad
social

8.- Migración, para el apoyo de la comunidad latina fomento la creación de herramientas

que ayudaran a la capacitación gratuitas de esas personas en tres áreas: para empleos,

de la Cruz Roja Mexicana, Escudería Telmex, Secretaría de Salud y la Federación
Nacional del Automóvil.

10.- Ayuda humanitaria, presta la colaboración con la red de voluntarios y en caso de

desastres naturales.

11.- Desarrollo humano, apoyo a las personas por medio de la Asociación de Superación
por México y la Fundación Best Buddies Internacional México.

12.- Conservación del Ambiente, apoya con una gran cantidad de dinero a una
organización no gubernamental que tiene como objetivo la erradicación del polio en el
