The carbon footprint is the whole quantity of ‘greenhouse gasses’ that we generate annually.

According to The Nature Conservancy, in the U.S., the average carbon footprint is 16 tons
per person and, globally, it is 4 tons per person. Nowadays, millions of people in the world
like me don’t completely realize how much carbon dioxide, among other gasses, we release
into the atmosphere by every little action during our day-to-day lives. Therefore, tools to
measure our own carbon footprint would be extremely helpful for us to be aware of the harm
we are causing to the planet and should be implemented quickly by the governments.
