    ATWIED LIGHTING NOTES

    • Lights up after Act 2 (presumably but the lights up depends on each day
    what time the sun might set)
    1. 13th – 16th July – sunset at 9:12-15PM – lights up at 8:30?
    • Fade out/blackout after every scene ending and lights up
    • Scene 26 – sledge scene – lighting up the blue spotlight ( not too harsh
    seeming like they are in clouds) page 71
    • Blackout after Scene 27 (train replaced by boat) (15 seconds) [still a lot can
    be cut to 10]
    • Scene 28 lights up
    • Page 74, Scene 28 – flickering the lights to replicate thunder and storm.
    Storm at sea.
    • No blackout at the end since the last bits roll out
    • Straight lighting no complexity and messing around.
    • Avoid harsh shadows
    • Cross lighting to evenly light the stage.
