BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY

A mobile application is created to run on mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets.

Mobile application provides users with quality services and experiences even if it is a small

The realm of game creation is currently one of the most important or widely used in the

technology world. Gaming is commonly used for unwinding and pure fun. The gaming industry,

on the other hand, has grown in popularity among people of all ages. People spend so much time

playing video games that they neglect to complete their chores or projects. The games they play

may have positive or negative effects on them. It encourages children to be adaptable and think

creatively.

A game can be used to help students learn and understand their technology lesson. They

can learn programming languages easily with the help of this puzzle coding game. Students who

master the fundamentals can advance in their careers. The goal of the coding game is to provide a

student with the ability to create a game by learning and utilizing the required programming

language for game development.

PROJECT SCOPE AND LIMITATION

The study focuses on the development of coding game applications that will be significant

for beginner use of 2nd year college BSIT students of Universidad de Manila to understand the

basics of python programming language. Students nowadays are easily entertained when using an

application, especially a game. The merging of coding tutorial and game will bring a great
relationship between the learning capabilities of students since they can learn the basics of coding

while gaming.

Coding game application is only limited for students who are in College, specifically in

the 2nd year of Bachelor of Science in Information and Technology at Universidad de Manila that

wants to learn the basics of python programming language. The application will be commonly

used for students beginner guide which means, the application will not teach any complex coding.

PROJECT OBJECTIVE

GENERAL OBJECTIVE

The general objective of this study is to propose a mobile game application that will

provide a basic tutorial and at the same time an entertainment for students of 2nd year college of

BSIT of Universidad De Manila.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE

The study aims:

● To provide a mobile coding game application that will provide a beginner-friendly tutorial

for learning the python language.

● To educate students the fundamentals of a python language.

● To entertain the user with the challenges of the game.

● To develop users' cognitive and problem solving skills.

● To emphasize the value of learning programming languages.

 ● To enhance the programming and critical thinking of the users.

SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY

The purpose of this proposal is to develop a coding game that will teach 2nd year college

BSIT students the fundamentals of the python programming language . It aims to develop and

improve the user's skill.

To the Students, This proposal will assist students in developing their programming

skills. The coding game will allow them to become more hands-on with the fundamentals of

python programming.

To the Faculty, The coding game will assist teachers in improving their lessons. The

research will assist them in improving the quality of their teaching technique.

To the College of Engineering (CET) Department, The coding game will assist them in

becoming more developed and advanced in terms of learning the fundamentals of python

programming. The game will assist them in assessing the abilities of their students.

To the Researchers, The researchers have improved their writing, analysis, and

interpretations abilities.

To the Future Researchers,The study will help other researchers who want to conduct

similar investigations since they can use the findings of this study as a template to adapt their own

research and gain background knowledge.
