CHAPTER IV

This chapter discusses the findings and results of the study, analysis, and interpretation

and the data gathered. The gathered data are presented and interpreted with implications and

connections to the cited literature.

The results of the study implied that the level of marketing strategies of the school

canteen is very effective. This means that the marketing strategies is very effective for the

improvement or progress in association with their business performances.

This adheres to the Chartered Association of Business Schools that, a marketing strategy

is an approach that an organization uses to reach out to the target market to create awareness and
convince customers to purchase specific products. Many organizations in the world have shifted

the way activities are conducted due to increase of internet activities. There are different

approaches that a company can apply in communication to the public including conventional

approaches, digital means and other integrated approaches to marketing. This part takes a

background check on what has been done on the topic of discussion to establish a detailed

conclusion on the same.

Similarly, the preparedness level of three school canteen in terms of procedures is also

highly prepared. This means that the school canteen staffs always make sure that their materials,

and product is neat, affordable, and relevant.

This relates to the study conducted by Shcherbakova that every organization needs to

consistently adjust operations and marketing strategies in order to perpetually satisfy consumers

and reinforce dedication to the vision and mission of the food service establishments.

The results of the study shows that the business performances of the school canteen of

Panitan NHS is very satisfactory. This tells that the school canteen have a very satisfactory

business performances. It also means that almost all the customer’s needs and wants are fulfilled.

This correlates to the Henri Fayol’s theory of management which was based on how

management interacts with the performance of a business. The results coordinate in Fayol’s

theory on how to manage staffs effectively to meet the organizational goals and gain a faster and

broader growth for a business’s performance.

The outcomes revealed that there is a significant relationship existing between the marketing

strategies and business performances of school canteens in Panitan National High School for

school year 2022-2023. Data showed that the Pearson-r value of 0.560** has significant value of

0.004. Therefore, the hypothesis that states “There is no significant relationship between the

level of marketing strategies, and the business performance of the school canteens in Panitan

National High School.” Is rejected.

This indicates that the level of marketing strategies of school canteens has something

to do with the business performances of the school canteens in Panitan National High School.

They are supplementary with each other.
