1. WHAT IS A FINAL PROJECT?

The main objective of the final project is to demonstrate the knowledge acquired during the master's
degree. This project is an opportunity to deepen, embrace, practice, develop and discover a topic of
interest related to the Blockchain Master.

It will be carried out during the course, with working groups of 3 to 5 people and will be delivered in 3
phases, where the project will be evaluated by the assigned tutor.

2. WHO IS GOING TO BE THE TUTOR?

For this track, Edwin Mata, Global Head Expert of the programme, will be responsible for conducting the
sessions.

3. WHAT IS ITS PURPOSE?

The general objective will be to provide students with the conceptual and procedural tools for the
development of projects that correspond to the Business Track.

4. WHAT IS THE STRUCTURE OF THE FINAL PROJECT?

The final project shall be presented in report format and shall follow the following formal structure:

4.1. Title page

⎯ Name of students
⎯ Date, submission and defense period
⎯ Master's programme studied
⎯ Name of tutor

4.2. Table of contents

- Include a table of contents with page numbers. It must be correctly paginated.

4.3. Introduction
The introduction is the initial part of any project or study where the reader can get to know the
main lines or topics on which the work is focused. It is in this section where the main and specific
objectives to be achieved are set out, reference is made to theoretical references that have
previously dealt with the subject, the structure to be followed (the processes and actions) is
indicated and, finally, the conclusions obtained. In short, it is an initial image that shows the most
relevant details that will be described in each of the sections of the study.

4.4. Rationale and Contextualisation

- Why has this research been carried out? Importance of the topic.
- Personal interest and/or professional background.

4.5. Objectives
- What do you want to achieve with the project?
- Purpose of the project.
-
4.6. Methodology used
The methodological framework will follow a totally theoretical-practical approach, bearing in mind at all
times the scientific method, as well as the contrast of the results obtained.

The type of sampling (participants) is left to the choice of the authors of the project, and can be either
purposive or random. The main purpose is to replicate what is being researched or designed in the reality
under study.

Finally, with regard to the formation of the working groups, we start from 3 strategies: affinity or shared
professional interests, by means of gamification techniques such as MIRO, or randomly.

4.7. Results and Conclusions

- Presentation of the results obtained
- Discussion of the results
- Argumentation of whether the previously set objectives have been achieved.
- Conclusion

4.8. References / Bibliography

- If it has been used, it has to be indicated in accordance with APA standards

5. HOW WILL THE DEFENSE BE LIKE?

The defense will consist of an oral presentation of the most salient aspects of the project, lasting
approximately 15 minutes, for which the use of presentation tools such as PowerPoint, KeyNote or other
similar tools is recommended.

This presentation will be followed by questions, advice and comments from the evaluation committee: 5
minutes for each component, in total 15 minutes.

6. HOW WILL IT BE EVALUATED?

The project will have a weight of 60% of the final grade of the course. We recommend that the evaluation
of the project takes into account the following criteria and the percentages indicated, although NDS gives
the final decision to each lead expert on the % weighting with prior notice to the academic.

Written Final Project 60%

Oral defense of the Final Project 40%
