Procedure/s:

1. Teacher will prepare set of words for the

learners to spell out.
2. Random learners will be called to spell the
word given by the teacher.
3. Learners will be given 30 seconds to spell the

Discussion about the different atmospheric

Explain phenomenon.

Time allotment: 35 minutes

G. Finding practical application of concepts and skills in REFLECTION:

daily living
We know that the Philippines experience only two
seasons due to its geographical location. We often
experience “hanging habagat” or southeast monsoon,
and “hanging amihan” or northeast monsoon that gives
a cold rainy weather for the most part of our country.

Elaborate Guide Questions:

1. Why do farmers welcome monsoons?

2. How does monsoons affect our lives and our
environment?

Time allotment: 5 minutes

lesson
I. Evaluating learning Evaluate POST ASSESSMENT ACTIVITY:

TRUE OR FALSE

Directions: Write TRUE if the statement is correct and

FALSE if the statement is wrong.
1. Air moves towards a high pressure area and
away from a low pressure area.
2. A low pressure area creates a good/fair
weather.
3. Air movement occurs due to difference in
temperature and pressure.
4. The Philippines receives lesser amount of
solar energy than Japan.
5. Places located at the intertropical
convergence zone has a good weather.

Time allotment: 5 minutes

J. Additional activities for application or remediation MODULAR DISTANCE LEARNING ACTIVITY:

Extend • Answer the week 2 module given by your teacher.

• Write your answers in your science activity notebook.
