According to this case what is the problem that Taksa Kyrana found? (Weighted20%)

According to this case a problem that Taksa Kyrana found is regarding the operational days and rest days
since as the government settles new time for holidays which is Friday to Saturday
while the previous holidays are Saturday to Sunday. She has to choose between operating in the new time given
by the government or does she stick with the old operating days. Because if she choose to keep operating in the old
operating days she might lose some of her customers from the public sectors. But if she choose to operate in the new
operating days she might lose some of her customers from the private sectors. This will impact her profits as well as sh
does new adapt with the new settled time.

Explain also Taska Kyrana target market from this case and what do you think about it?(Weighted20%)

Taksa Kyrana’s target market from this case is meeting parents needs in taking care of their child
in which these parent’s work part time or full time. Taska Kyrana targets parents who are in the middle to upper
income Malaysian and Singaporean, working either in the public or private sectors
who care about their child's education and child care.

Middle-class family due to their full-time jobs, the parents in this group did not have time to watch their kids
during the day. As a result, they need assistance to care for their kids while they are at work. High-income family
The parents who belonged to the higher income bracket were more picky, particularly
when it came to the service quality, accreditation, and reputation of the daycare centre.
For higher-quality childcare services and sophisticated development programs, they were prepared to pay more.
This consumer group insisted on having their kids learn fundamental skills like reading, singing, and socialising.

In my opinion it's not fair for parents with lower income to not be able to afford or be able to
get the child care service. Since I assume if they target middle income and high income families it means that
the pricing would also be affordable only to these people with these classes.

3.
Why Taska Kyrana must have overtime for their employee? (Weighted20%)

Taska Kyrana must have overtime for their employee because it helps fulfil the parents need in finding someone to take
care of their child as they work extra hours and time in their workplace until they go home and reunite with their kid.
This service actually helps earn around RM 5000 per month and this helps workers of Taska Kyrana earn more
money.

4.
Do you think Taska Kyrana needs to change or not to change its operating days? Please
explain using SWOT analysis that we already learned (Weighted20%).

I think Taska Kyrana needs to change its operating days according to the government's new regulation.

S= If Taska Kyrana changes its operating days according to the government’s new regulation she will only lose a small
revenue compared to still operating in the old operation days. So the customers from the public sector would
still be there and she wouldn't lose 65% of her customers and this could help still sustain and maintain the business.
And as time goes on she could actually gain new customers and can also gain a bigger customer base
as time goes by since some customers that want service on Sunday could also be gained.
This can recover faster and the business could still be on track again as they adapt with the new operation day.
W= Taska Kyrana wouldn’t be able to fulfil customer demands on Fridays since Friday to Saturday is their rest day.
This would reduce 35% of the customers and these customers are mostly from the private sectors.
This would affect the income of Taska Kyrana in which it will decrease as well. This decreases because
Taska Kyrana’s operation days could possibly be not according to the customer’s wants. Since Taska Kyrana
is unavailable at the time wanted by the customers.

O= This could potentially help the business expand and improve the wellbeing of the business.
As the new improvements of the business can help to increase the revenue gained by the business as well.
Could be used to buy new equipment, open up more places and have more facilities.
Therefore can increase the income gained by the business.

T= Customers who previously have wanted service from Taska Kyrana could potentially
no longer want to be serve in Taska Kyrana due to the new changes of the operational days settled and they
would move to its competitors that serve based on what the customers wanted.
This could make its competitors like NURI rise up and potentially rule the market as she changes
the days of operation. NURI would actually have a chance to
compete with Taska Kyrana as the competitor sees opportunity in the market.

Theory question:
Please explain four main ways that businesses raise financial capital(Weighted 20%)

Businesses can raise financial capital through bonds in which this is an investment created
by a bondholder and then it is paid back by using debt obligation by the business. The
business will then have to pay the interest when the bond is already due or time to be paid.

Stock is another way that businesses raise financial capital so it's like selling a limited
ownership of the business to potential shareholders. These shareholders are making an
investment in the business and they will earn money through things like an increase in the
businesses market cap will lead to higher price of the stock or maybe dividends so its like
profit earned by the business and it will be shared to shareholders of the business.

Profit earned by the company as they sell their product or service is then being circulated
back to the business to fund the business and maybe improve the business and expand
using the money. These things could be used as a way to raise financial capital.

Early-stage capital so it uses the money of the owner of the business as a financial capital or
maybe find investors to help fund the company as their money would be useful as a financial
capital.
