1. What are the sustainable business practices of Amazon based on the given case?
- Patagonia. Because, Amazon's goal is to ensure that their employees, customers, as well as
community are safe. Amazon launched a $20 Million AWS diagnosis initiative. Not only this they
also donated to help the communities.
2. What pillars of sustainability are being addressed by Amazon's business practices based on
the given case?
- In my own opinion, the pillars of sustainability are addressed by Amazon's business practices is
social pillar (people). Because Amazon not only focuses on earning profit, but they focus on their
employees, customers, and community. As part of its commitment to employee safety, Amazon
guarantees that each employee will receive a thank-you bonus and COVID-related initiatives.
They continue to treat workers decently. Furthermore, they offer complimentary masks with
improved cleaning to all their consumers.
