Instructions for Case file


The File is a record of the cases seen by the MBBS student during her/his clinical
postings in OBGY and during the maternity posting.
The student is expected to write down the details of all the cases and case
summary and get them checked and verified by the senior resident on duty on
the same day.
None of the entries will be considered valid unless verified by a resident doctor
or consultant.

 Use format 1 for recording antenatal cases


 Use format 2 for recording Student Doctor Learning Method
 Use format 3 for recording intrapartum cases
 Use format 4 for recording procedure summaries
