The manager ordered us to Shakey's. We memorize the menu at Shakey's.

The manager told us the dos


and don'ts rules and regulations in Shakey's, such as the forbidden use of cell phones during immersion;
do not sit during immersion; it is also forbidden to turn your back at the door of the Greet Relation
Station; you must be ready to greet customers when you are at the Greet Relation Station; your voice
must be loud; smile while greeting; assist the guest to his or her table; and prepare a table set and water
for the guest. Every time we go home, the manager will first ask us a question about what we learned
and things discussed with us about Shakey's. The manager also told us the opening hours at Shakey's in
the morning, noon, and afternoon. We go to work in the morning at 8:00 a.m., our lunch is at 12:00
p.m., and we start returning to our stations at 1:00 p.m. We return home in the afternoon at 5:00 p.m.
They taught us how to greet guests entering Shakey's. I greeted guests coming in and eating at Shakey's.
Ate Vilma taught us how to set up a table and hold a tray. I also served food to customers. Ate Vilma
also taught us how to socialize or communicate well with guests. The manager also took us around the
different stations at Shakey's. We were standing at Shakey's the whole day; we are not allowed to sit
down. I also folded tissues to be used at Shakey's. After lunch, we introduced ourselves one by one in
front of the staff and showed our talent to Shakey's staff and the students who were immersed with us
from other schools.

Day 2- Our manager divided our classmates into two stations, I went to the Front of House, I swept up
the mess at Shakey's, sanitized wet utensils, every 30 minutes the immersionist who is assigned in the cr
will check the cr every 30 minutes to checked if it's clean or not, we wrapped hot sauce, assembled a
pizza box, and every 10am we opened Shakey's. We also greeted incoming guests at Shakey's, I also
teach my classmates who not yet known how to greet a guest properly in Greet Relation Station so that
they can have experience, the manager also taught us the different calls in the kitchen utensils, I served
6 guests, served food to the guests, I wiped the tables, cleaned the dirty plates that is used by the
customers and took them to the dishwashing station, I also cut the printed contact numbers of Shakey's,
I also pasted printed contact numbers on the flyers. When we finished the tasks we signed the DTR with
the manager and then we went home.

Day 3: I sanitized the wet utensils, I swept the mess in the front of house, I took down the table and
chairs, I wiped the table and chairs, and after the tasks we opened at 10 am, I also served the guests and
arranged the seats. Then we were all called to a meeting. Before we started the meeting, Jamaica
prayed first, we had a meeting about the goal salary for that day, and after the meeting we were sent
back to our respective stations. Our manager ordered us to cut out Shakey's contact numbers and stick
them on flyers, and when we were doing nothing, they wrapped us in hot sauce. After that, we signed
the DTR with the manager, then we went home.

Day 4, we wiped the window of Shakey's, wiped the table, arranged a table set to be used when there is
a guest, caught flies so they don't multiply, had a meeting and discussed today's goal salary, greeted
guests to eat at Shakey's, assisted 12 customers, served 12 food to 12 customers, cleaned the table after
the guests left, and before we went home in the afternoon, brother Alfie ordered us to sanitize wet
utens, and after we did that, we signed with the DTR manager, then we went home.
Day 5: We swept the mess in the front of the house; I wiped the window; I arranged the table set; I
wiped the table; I also took down the chairs; I greeted the guests who entered and ate at Shakey's;
when a guest came in, I assisted him/her to his table and brought table set up and water. When they
finished, I gave the bill out to Ate Vilma, and I arranged the dirty plates and brought them to the
dishwashing station.

Day 6: We were at the scullery station. Sister Evah showed us where the utensils, vegetables, sauces,
mozzarella, and others were. She also showed us the different sizes of pizza dough. She washed the
utensils and cookware, cooked gravy and skeletti sauce, mixed four sauces, put gravy sauce in 25
containers, covered the skeletti placed in the container, assembled a box to put a bunch of lunch,
arranged a bunch of lunch, cut white onions, cut 2 inch lettuce and soaked it in ice water, wiped the
wall, wiped the floor, swept, and sliced mozzarella cheese.

Day 7: Wiped the table at the back of the house, washed the utensils and cookware, attached the names
of the sauces and toppings of the make-up station, introduced our new companions who will
immemorial at Shakey's; they showed up with talent; most of them are kind and friendly; weighed
pasta, bagged pasta; removed bones from chicken; cut chicken into cubes; sister Evah taught us where
the sauces were placed; frozen; dessert; and utensils.

Day 8: It was our last day at Shakey's, and we only had half a day. We made gravy and skelleti sauce, and
we also reheated sauces such as carbonara sauce, skelleti sauce, and gravy sauce. We wiped the table at
the back of the house, washed the utensils and cookware, and stuck the names of the pizza toppings.
When all the work was done, we signed the DTR and said goodbye to the staff and our companions
immersion in another school.
