Activity Study 'Globalization and Media' and answer the ff. questions.

1. What is media?
 The use of media as a medium for communication includes the dissemination of
information via social media, news outlets, and online media. It is widely spread
out so that you can find important information or news no matter where you are
in the world. The media includes news publications, television, radio, social
media platforms, and websites, all of which have been very helpful to us in
obtaining the information we need on a daily basis.
2. Discuss the effect/s of media in the ff:
i. Economy - The media has also been a big help in increasing the economy
through long-distance businesses. Social media is the one that spreads local
products to be recognized in other countries. Using this, there is a greater
chance for a business to develop through trading goods and services.
ii. Politics - Social, news, and web media are excellent resources for voters seeking
to learn more about the politicians they will elect. However, the media can be
used to spread false information that leads to negative outcomes, as seen in the
recent election when fake news spread via social media. It is still important to
study thoroughly to investigate and use the media to give the right and real
information that everyone needs, not only during elections but in our daily use of
the media.
iii. Globalization- The media is significantly impacted by globalization, and as time
goes on, so are we. We now frequently use the media to communicate and
obtain information both inside and outside of our country. The media is
becoming a component of countries' trading industries. Thanks to the depth of
information the media offers, we have also changed and advanced the world.
