Clinical History:

The animal was born premature and small in size. Due to this it could not suckle well from its
mother.
The poor growth and midget size of the colt had low resistance to heat and cold. During the mini-
typhoon that grazed the Ilocos Region it put the animals at risk.
The colt thus became subsequently weak and succumbed to the inclement weather.

The animal was disposed off by burying.

Clinical History:

The animal was being tethered in the grassy areas at Demofarm. Because of the inclement
weather it was exposed to rain and moderately strong winds.
Upon autopsy, the stomach was bloated and odorous air spurted out when the abomasum was
opened. The stomach contents had foul odor.
The animal died of asphyxia due to the distended and bloated stomach which impinged the flow
of blood from the heart to the other parts of the body.

Disposition

The carcass was disposed by burying on August 12, 2019.
