Dear Parents,

At D. R. Amin Memorial School we are always enthusiastic and look forward to provide new
challenges to our students. Adding fun to learning creates the best educational experience
possible. An expansive vocabulary in a language guarantees a superior understanding of
other subjects too and creates access to the entire world’s knowledge and even in books
and scholarly articles. Keeping that in mind, the school has organized the First Inter-House
Competition ‘Spell Bee’ which will be conducted on 16th and 17th June 2022 for classes I to
VIII. Students are mentored by experienced faculties for this competition. The competition
is designed to make spellings fun, develop vocabulary and build confidence. It is planned in
an age and grade appropriate manner.

Please note the details of the competition as follows.

1. Participation is compulsory.
2. The competition consists of two rounds.
3. In Round-I, students will appear for a dictation 20 words from the given list and 5
surprise words. (A list of words to memorize for Round I is sent on Flinnt Class
Notice Board). Students who secure the highest score will move to Round II (final
round).
4. The students, who qualify for the final round, will be intimated through the school
diary and will be given a new list of words for the final round.
5. The final round consists of challenging rounds like Spell-o-spell, Word cookie,
Mingle-Mangle and Rapid Fire.
