INTRODUCTION
Travel and Tourism management system: This is an online project developed using php and
MySQL. The purpose of this project is to provide the complete information about the
vehicles available for a tour. There are two different types of users. First, the customer
visits the site and enters the place from where to where he wishes to travel. He also
provides the date as when he would like to travel. Then he sends these details to the travel
and tourism agency. The employee of travel and tourism agency receives the mail and check
which vehicle is available for that day and reverts to the customer along with the quotation.
If the customer agrees for any one of the quotation, he can reply along with agreed
quotation. Then the agency will take down all the details of the customer and will send a
confirmation message to the customer. On the day of the tour, the customer first must show
the confirmation message to the driver for clarity and only then, he will agree to drive after
looking at the confirmation message. This software is user friendly and helps in finding the
vehicle sooner rather than wandering manually everywhere to find for vehicles. Before the
tour starts, half payment has to be done. After the customer returns or reaches his final
destination, he must pay full amount either through cash or through cards. After the
travelling, the customer can come back to the site and enter his feedback about the travel
and tourism agency. If any good feedback will be taken, positive land if any negative
feedback too will be taken positively and try to improve what had lacked. There port is also
generated periodically and the database will be cleared according to the time span for faster.

1.1 ABSTRACT
This website is revealed to provide the best traveling assistance to customers and travel
agencies. We have developed travel and tour management systems to render a found stage
where tourist can find their tour places according to their likes. This system also helps to
promote liable and pleasant tourism so that people can enjoy their vacations at their favorite
places. This way also benefits develop tourism with different cultures so that they enrich
the tourism experience and build variety. We develop this system to create and improve
forms of tourism that provide better cooperation opportunities for tourists and locals and
increase a better opinion of different cultures, customs, lifestyles, traditional knowledge,
and beliefs. This system also gives tours-related data like which bus can go to certain
places and which are tourist attractions, cities, and provinces. Tourists can also get the Map
and exploration system and can also see other tourist reviews.
1.2 PROBLEM STATEMENT

The Travel Management System will be rolled out in stages. Currently, work is being
completed on the back office portion of the applications, which facilitates processing of
requests and reimbursements and provides key integration points with travel vendors such as
Expedia and Enterprise. The next phase of the Travel Management System project is to
distribute the travel request and reimbursement forms to select departments as a pilot group.
Upon successful completion of the pilot, these documents will be integrated with Kuali
Enterprise Workflow (KEW) in order to accommodate electronic routing and approval.
Once automated routing and approval are ready, the Travel Management System
documents will be made available to all IU faculty, staff, and students.

1.3 MODULE DESCRIPTION
Administrator module:
This module provides administrator related functionality. Administrator manages all
information and has access rights to add, delete, edit and view the data related to places,
travels, routes, bookings, restaurants etc.
Travels module:
This module provides the details of various travel agencies. A user can select the
appropriate agency depending on convenience and accessibility.
Routes module:
This module provides information related to various routes connecting sources and
destinations. For each route, information such as source, destination, fare, reservation
details, pick up points etc. are provides.
Reservations module:
This module provides functionalities that allow a user to book tickets or cancel previously
booked tickets. The module maintains the details of all reservations made so far and allows
administrator to either confirm or reject the bookings.
Testimonials module:
Users of this application can post their opinions, complaints and suggestions regarding this
portal and services to the administrator. Accordingly, the administrator can take various
steps to act on the complaints and suggestions.

SYSTEM ANALYSIS
2.1 INTRODUCTION TO SYSTEM ANALYSIS
Systems analysis the process of observing systems for troubleshooting or development

purposes. It is applied to information technology, where computer-based systems require
defined analysis according to their makeup and design.
Today in colleges student details are entered manually. The student details in separate
records are tedious task. Referring to all these records and updating is needed. There is a
chance for more manual errors.
System study aim at establishing the request for the system to be acquired, development and
installed. It involves studying and analyzing the ways of an organization currently
processing the data to produce information. Analyzing the problem thoroughly forms the
vital part of the system study. In system analysis, prevailing situation of problem is carefully
examined by breaking them into sub problems. Problematic areas are identified and
information is collected. Data gathering is essential to any analysis of request. it is necessary
that this analysis familiar the designer with objectives , activities and function of the
organization in which the system is to be implemented. A detailed study was done on the
existing system and limitations.

 It was limited to a single system.
 It was less user-friendly.
 It have a lots of manual work (Manual system does not mean that we are
working with pen and paper, it also include working on spread sheets and other
simple software's)

2.2 SOFTWARE REQUIREMENT SPECIFICATION(SRS)
The software requirement specification is produced at culmination of the analysis task. The
function and performance allocated to software as part of system engineering are refined by
establishing a complete information description, a detailed function and behavior description, an
indication of performance requirement and design constraints, appropriate validation criteria and
other data pertinent to requirements.
The old manual system was suffering from a series of drawbacks .since whole of the system was
to be maintained with hands process of keeping. Maintaining and retrieving the information was
very tedious and lengthy. The records were never used to be in systematic order. There used to be
many difficulties in association any particular transaction with a particular context. if any
information was to be found it was required to go to the different registers , documents there
would never exist anything like report generation .there would always be unnecessary
consumption of time while entering records and retrieving records.
once the record were entered it was very difficult to update these record.
The reason behind these is that there is a lot of information to be maintained and have to keep in
mind while running the business.
For these reason (computerized) actually existing system is quite laborious, as one has to enter
same information at three different places.

2.5 INTRODUCTION TO HTML (Hypertext Markup Language)
The Hypertext Markup Language or HTML is the standard markup language for documents
designed to be displayed in a web browser. With HTML, we can create our own Website.
 HTML describes the structure of a web page semantically and originally included cues
for the appearance of the document.
 HTML elements are the building blocks of HTML pages.
 HTML is the standard markup language for Web pages.
 HTML stands for Hyper Text Markup Language.
 HTML is the standard markup language for creating Web pages
 HTML describes the structure of a Web page
 HTML consists of a series of elements
 HTML elements tell the browser how to display the content
HTML elements label pieces of content such as "this is a heading", "this is a paragraph", "this is
a link", etc.
Web pages can be created and modified by using professional HTML editors.
However, for learning HTML we recommend a simple text editor like Notepad (PC) or Text Edit
(Mac).
Using a simple text editor is a good way to learn HTML.
2.6 INTRODUCTION TO CSS (Cascading Style Sheets)

CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) is used to style and layout web pages, for example, to alter the
font, color, size, and spacing of your content, split it into multiple columns, or add animations
and other decorative features.
CSS is the language we use to style an HTML document. CSS describes how HTML elements
should be displayed.

2.7 INTRODUCTION TO JAVASCRIPT
JavaScript (often shortened to JS) is a lightweight, interpreted, object-oriented language with

first-class functions, and is best known as the scripting language for Web pages, but it is used in
many non-browser environments as well. JavaScript can function as both a procedural and an
object-oriented language.
JavaScript is a text-based programming language used both on the client-side and server- side
that allows you to make web pages interactive. Where HTML and CSS are languages that give
structure and style to web pages, JavaScript gives web pages interactive elements that engage a
user.
 JavaScript is the world's most popular programming language.

2.8 INTRODUCTION TO PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor)
PHP started out as a small open source project that evolved as more and more peoplefound out
how useful it was. Rasmus Lerdorf unleashed the first version of PHP way back in 1994.

 PHP is a recursive acronym for "PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor".

 PHP is a server side scripting language that is embedded in HTML. It is used to manage
dynamic content, databases, session tracking, even build entire e-commerce sites.
 It is integrated with a number of popular databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL,
Oracle, Sybase, Informix, and Microsoft SQL Server.
 PHP is pleasingly zippy in its execution, especially when compiled as an Apache module
on the UNIX side. The MySQL server, once started, executes even very complex queries
with huge result sets in record-setting time.
 PHP supports a large number of major protocols such as POP3, IMAP, and LDAP. PHP4
added support for Java and distributed object architectures (COM and CORBA), making
n-tier development a possibility for the first time.
 PHP is forgiving: PHP language tries to be as forgiving as possible.
 PHP Syntax is C-Like.
Common uses of PHP
2.8.1.1 PHP performs system functions, i.e. from files on a system it can create,open, read,
write, and close them.
2.8.1.2 PHP can handle forms, i.e. gather data from files, save data to a file, throughemail
you can send data, return data to the user.
2.8.1.3 We can add, delete and modify elements within your database through PHP.
2.8.1.4 Access cookies variables and set cookies.
2.8.1.5 Using PHP, we can restrict users to access some pages of your website.

2.9 INTRODUCTION TO MySQL
MySQL is an open-source relational database management system (RDBMS. Its name is

combination of “My", the name of co-founder Michael Wideness’s daughter, and "SQL", the
abbreviation for Structured Query Language. A relational database organizes data intone or
more data tables in which data types may be related to each other; these relations help structure
the data. SQL is a language programmers use to create, modify and extract data from the
relational database, as well as control user access to the database. In addition to relational
databases and SQL, an RDBMS like MySQL works with an operating system to implement a
relational database in a computer's storage system, manages users, allows for network access
and facilitates testing database integrity and creation of backups.
MySQL is free and open-source software under the terms of the GNU General Public License,
and is available under a variety of proprietary licenses. MySQL was owned and sponsored by
the Swedish company MySQL AB, which was bought by Sun Microsystems (now Oracle
Corporation). In 2010, when Oracle acquired Sun, Wideners forked the open-source MySQL
project to create Maria DB.
MySQL has stand-alone clients that allow users to interact directly with a MySQL database
using SQL, but more often, MySQL is used with other programs to implement applications that
need relational database capability. MySQL is a component of the LAMP web application
software stack (and others), which is an acronym for Linux, Apache, MySQL, Perl/PHP/Python.
MySQL is used by many database-driven web applications, including Drupal, Joomla, PHP BB,
and Word Press. MySQL is also used by many popular websites, including Facebook, Flickr,
Media Wiki, Twitter, and YouTube.

3. SYSTEM DESIGN
System design is transition from a user oriented document to programmers or data base personnel. The
design is a solution, how to approach to the creation of a new system. This is composed of several steps. It
provides the understanding and procedural details necessary for implementing the system recommended in
the feasibility study. Designing goes through logical and physical stages of development, logical design
reviews the present physical system, prepare input and output specification, details of implementation plan
and preparea logical design walkthrough.
The database tables are designed by analyzing functions involved in the system and format of the fields is
designed. The fields in the database tables should define their role in the system. The unnecessary fields
should be avoided because it affects the storage areas of the system. Then in the input and output screen
design, the design should be made user friendly. The menu should be precise and compact.

a beautiful place to visit and one of the most popular tourist destinations in
Bangladesh. Here is your ultimate travel guide for Sajek Valley.
Another ordinary day in office; I was working hard to meet some deadlines. But,
deep inside, I knew it would not stay a typical one anymore. I took a printout of
the document I bought online from my laptop, not an air ticket but a bus ticket.
I am leaving for the Sajek Valley as the last person in Bangladesh.
It has become so popular, tourists flood the pages of travel-related groups with
photos of their Sajek tour. Each moment I looked at those photos; I wanted to go
to Sajek. Now is my time, and I am excited inside. </p>

Sajek Valley</b></h2>
<p>
After about three hours of the journey,
we arrived in the Sajek valley. The name of the village was Ruilui para. Although
the landscape was charming, I felt a tad disappointed to see the dotted hotels on
both sides of the street. It’s kind of spoiled by the authenticity of the place.
I understood I am ten years too late for my liking.
</p>
<p>If you wish to stay in a hotel with a

great view in Sajek, you need to book ahead. You can’t book them online. You have
to find contact number of the hotel, call them, pay through their prescribed
channel to confirm the booking.</p>
<p>I didn’t have any cottage booked. So, I

shopped around a little and settled in one. You won’t have any electricity in
Sajek, the power that you will get is through diesel driven generators or from
solar. The water is also scarce; we need to keep that in mind while consuming it.
The mobile network was also not very strong, it’s not an awful thing though, we
at least can concentrate on nature rather than restricting ourselves to the
mobile screen. </p>
<p>The architects of the houses made the room

of bamboo structure with a thatched ceiling. A bunch of bamboo made bases lifted
the room high from the ground. I think they made it that way to protect the house
from floods. </p>

<p>As soon as I entered the room, I was

ecstatic to see an attached porch. It presented me with an unobtrusive view of
the Kasalong range of mountains. On the horizon, there were countless tiny
hills. The valley was truly green. Where there were no hills, I found grasslands
which made the landscape even greener. The bright red color on the rooftop of the
motels gave a wonderful contrast to the canvas. </p>
<p>Sajek borders one of the seven sister

states in India named Mizoram. If you go a little further, you will reach
Myanmar. So, some hills I am watching from the balcony belong to Bangladesh, some
of them fell Inside wish I could make a trip to Mizoram or Myanmar, however,
there is no operational land border to go there. Such a shame!</p>

room</b></h2>
<p>I got back to my cabin and stood in the
balcony gazing at the moons and stars till I went down for the night.
</p>
<p>I wake up at 6:00 in the dawn. I

rushed out to the porch to watch the sunrise. The misty cloud drifting in the
hilltops far away along with the greeneries captivated me. </p>
<p>I savored the moments. It was a

weekend getaway for me. I could have stayed in that balcony for days
doing absolutely nothing. However, I have another project deadline to meet; I
have to go back to my desk in busy Dhaka. I wanted to be a rebel. I wished to
stay there, ignoring the harsh reality of life. Sadly, I could not become the

person I always loved to be. Someday I will, and I promise to share that story to

TESTING AND IMPLEMENTATION
5.1 INTRODUCTION TO SYSTEM TESTING

The purpose of testing is to discover errors. Testing is the process of trying to discover
every conceivable fault or weakness in a work product. It provides a way to check the
functionality of components, sub-assemblies, assemblies and/or a finished product It is the
process of exercising software with the intent of ensuring that the
Software system meets its requirements and user expectations and does not fail in an
unacceptable manner. There are various types of test. Each test type addresses a specific
testingrequirement.
5.2 TYPES OF TESTS
UNIT TESTING
Unit testing involves the design of test cases that validate that the internal program logic is
functioning properly, and that program inputs produce valid outputs. All decision branches
andinternal code flow should be validated. It is the testing of individual software units of
the application .it is done after the completion of an individual unit before integration. This
is a structural testing, that relies on knowledge of its construction and is invasive. Unit tests
perform basic tests at component level and test a specific business process, application,
and/or system configuration. Unit tests ensure that each unique path of a business process
performs accurately to the documented specifications and contains clearly defined inputs
and expected results.
INTEGRATION TESTING
Integration tests are designed to test integrated software components to determine if they
actually run as one program. Testing is event driven and is more concerned with the basic
outcome of screens or fields. Integration tests demonstrate that although the components
were individually satisfaction, as shown by successfully unit testing, the combination of

FUNCTIONAL TEST
Functional tests provide systematic demonstrations that functions tested are available as
specified by the business and technical requirements, system documentation, and user
manuals.Functional testing is centered on the following items:
Valid Input : identified classes of valid input must be accepted.
Invalid Input : identified classes of invalid input must be rejected.
Functions : identified functions must be exercised.
Output : identified classes of application outputs must be exercised.
Systems/Procedures: interfacing systems or procedures must be invoked.
Organization and preparation of functional tests is focused on requirements, key functions,
or special test cases. In addition, systematic coverage pertaining to identify Business
process flows; data fields, predefined processes, and successive processes must be
considered for testing. Before functional testing is complete, additional tests are identified
and the effective value of current tests is determined.
SYSTEM TEST
System testing ensures that the entire integrated software system meets requirements. It
tests aconfiguration to ensure known and predictable results. An example of system testing
is the configuration oriented system integration test. System testing is based on process
descriptionsand flows, emphasizing pre-driven process links and integration points.
WHITE BOX TESTING

White Box Testing is a testing in which in which the software tester has knowledge of the
innerworkings, structure and language of the software, or at least its purpose. It is purpose. It
is usedto test areas that cannot be reached from a black box level.
BLACK BOX TESTING

Black Box Testing is testing the software without any knowledge of the inner workings,
structure or language of the module being tested. Black box tests, as most other kinds of
tests, must be written from a definitive source document, such as specification or
Requirements document, such as specification or requirements document. It is a testing in
which the software under test is treated, as a black box. You cannot “see” into it. The test
provides inputs and responds to outputs without considering how the software works.

UNIT TESTING
Unit testing is usually conducted as part of a combined code and unit test phase of the
softwarelifecycle, although it is not uncommon for coding and unit testing to be conducted
as two distinct phases.
TEST STRATEGY AND APPROACH

Field-testing will be performed manually and functional tests will be written in detail.
TEST OBJECTIVES
• All field entries must work properly.
• Pages must be activated from the identified link.
• The entry screen, messages and responses must not be delayed.
FEATURES TO BE TESTED
• Verify that the entries are of the correct format
• No duplicate entries should be allowed
• All links should take the user to the correct page.
INTEGRATION TESTING
Software integration testing is the incremental integration testing of two or more
integratedsoftware components on a single platform to produce failures caused by
interface defects.
The task of the integration test is to check those components or software applications,
e.g.components in a software system or – one-step up – software applications at the
company level
– interact without error.
TEST RESULTS All the test cases mentioned above passed successfully. No defect

User Acceptance Testing is a critical phase of any project and requires significant
participation

System design is transition from a user-oriented document to programmers or data base
personnel. The design is a solution, how to approach to the creation of a new system. This
is composed of several steps. It provides the understanding and procedural details necessary
for implementing the system recommended in the feasibility study. Designing goes through
logical and physical stages of development, logical design reviews the present physical
system, prepare input and output specification, details of implementation plan and prepare
a logical design walkthrough.
The database tables are designed by analyzing functions involved in the system and format
ofthe fields is also designed. The fields in the database tables should define their role in the
system. The unnecessary fields should be avoided because it affects the storage areas of the
system. Then in the input and output screen design, the design should be made user
friendly. The menu should be precise and compact.

06. CONCLUSION
Our application mainly focus is to build an interoperable system for sharing of patient
health reports between different hospitals .It provides a good quality of care to patients
and ease of use to both patients and hospitals .The cloud acts as a centralized storage
unit for storing reportsOur application provides an easy way for the patients to access
the medical reports up to date and helps the doctors to come to a decision about the
patients past medical history. The usage of Apache POI API for generating patient
reports in .xlsx is a major advantage of our application. Because of uploading several
reports by different hospitals, it takes a lot of time for physician to come to a decision
and start treatment. To avoid this confusion we have proposed an integration system
integrates multiple health record forms into a single form, which contains the past
medical history, and physicians and patients can download the reports in chronological
order. The proposed system is interoperable for sharing patient information between
different hospitals. The main advantage in adopting a cloud based EHR is that it
provides a greater flexibility and interoperability. Moreover, it provides a quick backup
if thereis a server problem due to heavy load on server or due to some natural disasters.
Future Enhancement
Integrating our application with the existing mobile and web platforms.
IT vendors begin to realize the importance of connecting medical devices with cloud
to start a new era in health sector for establishing interoperability between hospitals.
Integrating various technologies (like machine learning and big data analytics
for handling huge data and making decisions) with our application.
A truly interoperable platform helps to achieve success by improving clinical,
financial, and patient outcomes.
Including the concepts of machine learning to make some medical predictions
about diseases and predicting the type of cancer etc.
Cloud providers should provide services to all hospitals there by eliminating
eliminatedata isolationism
Improving application for all the Mobile platforms as it helps users to access
from anywhere.
