Final Script
INT. HARPER’S BEDROOM – MORNING

A dull morning, birds chirping and no sound of anyone around. Harper

suddenly wakes up to the sound of her alarm blaring. She jumps awake
and sits up quickly. She grabs her phone and checks the time and date.
She groans and slowly pulls herself out of bed. She begins her morning
routine consisting of brushing her teeth, washing her face and making
breakfast.

INT. HARPER’S KITCHEN - MORNING

No one is home, Harper is too tired to care. There was a note left on
her kitchen counter stating ‘Hi Harper, I have gone away for the
weekend. Sorry about last night, see you soon, Henry x’ Harper read
this message and rolled her eyes and crosses out the name Henry because
she had got annoyed at her partner the night before. She opened the
fridge to see piles of food and drinks. Her eyes gleamed and she began
to make her breakfast.

INT. HARPER’S BEDROOM – DUSK

Time has passed and Harper is blaring music and in her room. Suddenly,
a loud bang and smash approaches from downstairs. Harper gets confused
and turns off her music to try and hear what happened from downstairs.
She takes slow footsteps towards her bedroom door. A smash sound was
heard. It sounded like a broken window.

HARPER

Hello? Henry?

INT. HARPER’S STAIRCASE – DAY

Harper takes slow footsteps down her staircase and grabs a baseball bat
which was resting on the wall. The tension builds up between Harper and
this strange sound. As she gets closer to her kitchen, the sound stops.
Harper looks around confused and her eyes dart to every corner of the
room. There was a hooded man hidden outside the window watching her
every move.

INT. HARPER’S KITCHEN – DAY

She was stood in her kitchen in the same spot, looking around
everywhere to suspect this weird sound and where it came from. She
plucks up the courage to walk into her living room to see a hooded man
with no face sat on her sofa on a laptop. She backs away and slowly
peers her head around the corner of the door.

INT. LIVING ROOM – NIGHT

The hooded man sat mysteriously staring at the rectangular laptop.

Harper could see his face but he was dressed in all black. Harper took
a step back and stopped looking at the unknown man. Her heart was
beating so fast and she tried to control it with her breathing. She
raised the baseball bat above her head and had the confidence to run
into the dining room and hit the man. She took 2 steps forward and made
her movements quicker into the living room. She stopped. The hooded
unknown man wasn’t there. The laptop had gone and so has the intruder.

Harper relaxed her arms and dropped the baseball bat and decides to
leave the house because she can’t handle the pressure. The intruder was
slowly appearing behind her with the baseball bat that she dropped. The
tension builds as the baseball bat gets lifted towards Harper’s head.

this message and rolled her eyes. She opens the fridge to see hardly
any fresh food. She closed the fridge and sighed and made some
breakfast with what she had. She sat at the table with the note that
was written from Henry and she was confused to why it was there and she
didn’t see it before.

hand. The tension builds as Harper opens her bedroom door and decides
to go downstairs. She doesn’t notice the baseball bat has disappeared
as she walks down the stairs. She enters the kitchen and sees all the
lights off and only the TV brightening up the room. She slowly walks
into the living room and there’s no one there. She grabs the remote and
turns off the TV, the whole room goes pitch black and Harper screams.

INT. HARPER’S BEDROOM – MORNING

A dull morning, birds chirping and no sound of anyone around. Harper

suddenly wakes up to the sound of her alarm blaring. She jumps awake
and sits up quickly. She grabs her phone and checks the time and date.
She realises that she has woken up on the same day. She remembers what
has happened the last 2 nights and starts to freak out. Harper jumps
out of bed and looks around frantically to try work out what is
happening. She runs out of her room and sees the baseball bat on the
stairs in the same place where it was before she got knocked out.

Harper sits in her bed worrying about the intruder entering. She
decides to take a nap to try ease the pain. As she slept soundly, she
heard her bedroom door open and she opens her eyes as quickly as
possible but she is too scared to turn around. There is more movement
coming from the door of her bedroom and she slowly starts to turn her
head hoping that the intruder isn’t there. As she turns her head, the
intruder is standing over her.

INT. HARPER’S BEDROOM – MORNING

Harper jolts awake and takes one quick look at her phone and already
knows that the day has reset. She jumps out of bed and is prepared
for the day to come. She has caught onto what will happen by the end
of the day. She runs downstairs and grabs the baseball bat on her
way.

INT. THE KITCHEN – AFTERNOON

Harper makes her way to the kitchen to try and fight this intruder
away. She sees a note on the kitchen counter and she was guessing
that it was the note left from Henry but it was in slightly
different handwriting and it said ‘Thanks for the bat, you made my
job easier’ As Harper finished reading the note, the intruder bursts
into the kitchen with the bat in hand.

HARPER

Stop! Who are you?

The intruder shrugs his shoulders and begins to walk closer to

Harper in suspense that she will get killed. Harper ducks out of the
way.

HARPER

Please tell me what I did!

The intruder shrugs again and doesn’t give Harper any ideas or clues
to the time loop.
The intruder shrugs again and doesn’t says a word. Harper escapes
from the intruders stare and runs up the stairs but as she does, the
intruder pulls her jacket and she fall down the stairs.

Contingency Plan

My plan for solving problems for locations, actors and planning issues. If any of my actors can’t help
me on the days I plan or they cancel last minute, I will have back up actors to be ready to act. I would
try to be flexible with my days and if an actor can’t do one day then I am happy to change the days to
suit my characters. If I have any problems with locations then I can easily change them around to be
suited to the scenes. I will be filming in Marlow so there are plenty of locations around that I could
switch too if in couldn’t use my chosen locations. For example, I am using Gabi’s house for the main
part of the film, if I can’t use that location then I can either use my house or one of my friend’s
houses. It should be easy for me to upgrade locations. I may have some equipment problems and I
may not be able to get the right equipment I need. Some people may have booked out all of the
equipment from college so I wouldn’t have any backups. I think I could work with what I have and by
using tripod and camera it should look the best. If I need lighting equipment and it is all booked out
then I can use my iPhone camera or natural light to brighten the shots.

Overall, hopefully I don’t have any problems or issues with filming and editing but if I do have any of
these issues then I know what I have to do to improve them.
