Warming Up
-To check upon students’ previous knowledge about angles, share link 1 with students and
ask them to solve this worksheet. Once done ask them to press “Check my answers”. Then
screenshot the result and send it back via the messenger application.
-Send a voice note to clear up any misunderstandings about angles (acute, obtuse, reflex,
right & straight) based on the results you get before you start with adjacent and vertically
opposite angles.

Learning Activity 1
Share Video 1 which is about adjacent and vertically opposite angles with students. After
students are done watching the video, ask them to reflect on a paper on the following
questions:
• What are vertically opposite angles?
• What are adjacent angles?
• How can you differentiate between a vertically opposite angle and an adjacent
angle?
Then capture an image of the answers paper and share it via the messenger application.
The teacher will read students’ answers and if she finds misinterpretations, she will send a
voice note to explain.

Share video 2 which teaches students about the properties of vertically opposite angles.
To check for understanding ask students to access Link 2 and solve the worksheet. Once
done ask them to press “Check my answers”. Then screenshot the result and send it back via
the messenger application.

Share Reference 1 which teaches students about the properties of adjacent angles.
To check for understanding, ask students to access Link 3 and practice calculating adjacent
angles.

Learning Activity 2
-Share Reference 2 to remind the students of the steps of constructing angles.
-Ask students to use graph paper to draw two adjacent angles and name them and two
vertically opposite angles and name them. Ask students to take a picture of the drawing they
do and share it on the messenger application.

Wrap-Up
For assessment:
-Ask students to refer to Worksheet 1& Worksheet 2 as practice for what they learned.
-Ask students to refer to Answer Key 1 & Answer Key 2 to correct their work.
