ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

I would like to express my greatest appreciation to all those who guided me to


complete this 10 days of work immersion.

First I would like to thank our Almighty God for giving me strength and guiding
me throughout my journey. He taught me how to deal different kind of people every day
and to make friends with them. Our almighty God also motivates me to finish the 10
days of work immersion.

Second, I would like to thank my parent for giving encouragement, enthusiasm


and invaluable assistance to me. Without all of this, I might not be able to complete my
work immersion.

BRIEF HISTORY OF LOOC MUNICIPAL POLICE STATION

The Looc Municipal Police Station is located at Barangay Poblacion, Looc,


Romblon and before it was became it was became a model police station, its structure
was made of light materials with Felomino Maximo Mortel as the first Station
Commander of Looc MPS.
It was in November 1, 2010 when the construction of new model police station
was undertaken. The lot where the new police station building structured was donated
by the Local Government Unit of Looc under the administration of Hon. Mayor Leila M.
Arboleda.
On December 11, 2022, the three (3) storey Looc Municipal Police Station
Building was inaugurated during the administration of PDG NICANOR A. BARTOLOME
as the chief PNP, PCSUPT MELITO M. MABILIN as the Regional Director and PCINSP
RAQUEL M. MARTINEZ as the Chief of Police.

MISSION
To enforce laws, prevent and control crimes, maintain peace and order, ensure
public safety and internal security in partnership with all stakeholders and with the active
support of the community.

VISION
With the blessings of the Almighty, by 2030, Looc MPS shall be highly capable,
effective and credible police service, working in partnership with the LGU and a
responsive community towards the attainment of a safe municipality to live, work, visit
and do business.

MANDATES
Republic Act 6975 as amended by RA 8551 and further amended by RA 9708.
