CLAUSE RELATION in analysing written discourse?

The function of using clause relations in written is to analyze paragraph cohesion. To create
cohesion, you need to use the correct pronouns, conjunctions, and other parts of the sentence.
Clause relationships help identify the cohesion between elements within a paragraph and
describe them in easy-to-understand sentences.

This is because the function of clause relations in sentences is to provide additional information
about nouns that include people, things, or animals. Also, relative clauses are always preceded by
relative pronouns, which are used in place of nouns, noun phrases, and pronouns. The members
included in relative pronouns are who, what, who, that, and who. Relative pronouns are often
used in writing.
