Legalizing the use of medical marijuana will benefit patients in the form of cheap medicines and will contribute to
government revenues.
It would be a big help in pain management for cancer patients as well as for those suffering from insomnia and
epilepsy and other "debilitating medical conditions. But first, we must impose limitations on Philippine law.

This will expose our citizenry to unnecessary harm and the risk of poor health outcomes.
Health risks of the drug, including:
Memory issues: Frequent marijuana use may seriously affect your short-term memory
Cognition problems: Frequent use can impair your cognitive (thinking) abilities.
Lung damage: Smoking anything, whether it's tobacco or marijuana, can damage your lung tissue. In addition,
smoking marijuana could increase the risk of lung cancer.
Abuse: Marijuana carries a risk of abuse and addiction.
Accidents: Marijuana use impairs driving skills and increases the risk for car collisions
