G.O.Ms.No.58, dated 12.01.2020 of MA&UD (G) Dept. son ORDER: In the reference 3% read above, the Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Ongole has submitted that in pursuance of the Commissioner & Director of Municipal Administration instructions issued in the reference 2°° read above, preliminary notification regarding delimitation of wards in Form- 1 in Andhra Pradesh Gazette published in the local newspapers duly calling suggestions and objections from the general public of Ongole Municipal Corporation. 2. Further, the Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Ongole has submitted that in response, objections were received and after considering the same, the final proposal was placed before the General Body for obtaining views and the General Body of Ongole Municipal Corporation have approved the proposals of draft preliminary notification regarding delimitation of wards of Ongole Municipal Corporation vide Resolution No.40, dated.04.01.2020. Accordingly, the Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Ongole while enclosing the description of wards, sketch, statement of suggestions and objections received, Certificates in Form-II, III, IV and V and Population of last census, has submitted the proposal for issue orders in the matter. 3. The Government, in the reference 4'" read above, has delegated the power to approve “Delimitation of wards (Division of Municipal Corporations into wards) by the Municipal Corporations” to the Commissioner & Director of Municipal Administration, A.P, Guntur. 4. Therefore, in exercise of the powers delegated by the Government in the reference 4" read above and after careful examination of the proposal submitted by the Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Ongole as per the Andhra Pradesh Municipal Corporations (Division of Municipal Corporationsinto Wards) Rules, 1996 issued in the reference 1* read above and as amended in G.O. 5* cited, the Commissioner & Director of Municipal Administration, AP, Guntur hereby approve the proposal of Delimitation of Ongole Municipal Corporation submitted by the Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Ongole into fifty (50) Wards, as per the Schedule annexed to this order. 5.
