Welcome to Midwest Metal Magazine Issue #28! It's
almost surreal to be writing another introduction to M.M
after a two year break and there's so much I want to say
but at the same time I'd rather not say a thing. But this
would be pointless if I didn't say something right? So I
suppose we'll pick up where we left off...Issue #27 was
released back in January of 2004 and since then my life has
changed so fucking much, it's almost crazy to compare! So
not only am I "happier" than I've ever been at any point in
my life, I'm also more realistic. MM used to be my "life". It
was all I cared about for so fucking long and I'd make
myself sick over "pointless" things that once meant the
world to me. It took some time to admit that this is just my
hobby and my existence didn't have to involve releasing
magazines or attending every show etc. Some people play
golf, some fish or whatever, I choose to write about Heavy
Metal and I love it! These past two years have been eye
openers as far as what is really important to me and I'm
very thankful for my experiences. No matter what goes on
in my life the ups, the downs and the in-betweens my
music has never let me down and for that I am, again,
thankful. Issue #28 is my returning the "favor" to the
soundtrack of my life. Nothing more, nothing less so don't
look too deep into it, just enjoy. While on the subject of
making myself sick, I still have many plans for our website
in the future so I really hope to have
www.midwestmetalmaqazine.com become the viable
