    Inching Pedal

    The inching pedal should be used when the grader is operating in Manual/Direct Drive.

    Function of the inching pedal:


    1. To reduce travel speed while maintaining engine speed
    2. To disengage the engine from the driveline when stopping or braking (like a clutch on a manual
    transmission automobile)

    To maximize service brake life, utilize the inching pedal when applying the brakes in Manual Mode.
    It is not necessary to use the inching pedal when operating in Auto (torque converter) mode.
