CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASE PREVENTION: ROLE OF EXERCISE, DIETARY
INTERVENTIONS, OBESITY, AND SMOKING CESSATION

In the first place, said article expresses the great problem that currently
exists regarding cardiovascular diseases, since it represents a great
contribution to mortality and morbidity in many countries. In addition, heart
problems increase their incidence in the population due to factors such as
smoking, physical inactivity, diabetes, obesity, hypertension and the lack of
consumption of fruits and vegetables; making these people more prone to
heart problems in the future.
In this article they evaluate the influence of physical activity, healthy eating
and other factors on people's cardiovascular health. Where they found that
by modifying certain aspects that people do daily, the development of these
cardiovascular diseases in the world population can be reduced by up to
80%.
However, it is stated that there are certain aspects or non-modifiable risk
factors in the development of these pathologies, such as age, heredity,
genetic composition, and diabetes or another adjacent pathology. Well,
according to epidemiological research has shown that people who have a
family history of heart disease and coagulopathies are more likely to develop
cardiovascular disease.
It should be clarified that for modifiable risk factors, it has been proposed to
develop various health promotion strategies to prevent these diseases or
that present a serious diagnosis to the entire population in general. It can
even be said that these preventive actions, in addition to helping the
population, imply a reduction in hospital costs and medicines that are given
in medical care sites due to these health problems
