I am now feeling the real role of a teacher because of the face to face classes,
and I hope that this will continue as I stay in our beloved school. I want to commend the
admins’ quick transitions and adjustments according what is the best for teachers, staff,
and more importantly students. Assessing my students academically is really
challenging, yet it gives me the courage to do beyond my capabilities. I really love the
children’s genuine gestures and words that full of love and appreciation. I love the
challenges that my students are giving me. I know that their questions are mostly out of
curiosity, but they are developing my critical thinking skills and my judgement the way I
see things that they can’t understand at the very age. I also love ate Che for her
incomparable care for us, and also the kuyas of IS, kuya Jojo and kuya Erwin, who are
untiringly devoting themselves for the welfare of everyone. Lastly, I want to give my
sincerest appreciation to my co teachers. They are very welcoming and selfless when it
comes to the people around them. I do hope that we all stay where are now. Our team’s
collaboration, trust, and open communication have been tested by time and hardship.

I had decided from the very beginning that for as long as the school wants me to
stay, then I’ll stay. Just like how quick I got accepted by the school head, ma’am Jen, I
can also quickly and confidently say that I want to stay. My commitment to the school
has never changed. It keeps getting stronger and bolder as time goes by. If I will
suggest something that will help the school, teachers, and students for common good is
that we must implement consistent face to face classes. According to parents that I
have talked to, their children have been looking forward to have the traditional set up of
learning. They also observed that online classes can only be good for critical scenarios
like when the pandemic started. We, teachers, can assess and help students with their
needs if we have constant and physical communication. In this way, students will feel
that we truly care for their development and success. We cannot avoid the fact that
online learning has many disadvantages than onsite leaning. Just like cheating,
tardiness, lowering of self-esteem, poor concentration, and many others. I do hope that
the administration will consider this as a major factor in enhancing the quality of
eduation.sni
