It's been so long since I attended the first class of Rizal and it feels just like yesterday when it started. I
honestly didn't know what to expect on the first day and I have low expectations since the subject itself
is not my forte. During the first 2 weeks in class, I got to know some of my classmates and my professor
(Ms. Rowena) who I expected has a lot of passion towards the subject. Some weeks had passed and I still
find the subject boring since I had no interest in it but whenever I read some of the reading that are
given to us, somehow I gave it a chance to enjoy the subject as well as to bond to my different block
mates. After a series of listening to my professor, I always wonder why do we need to learn this type of
things when it got no connection to our course, I find out that it has a law that we should learn this types
of things to have a passionate mindset and to set the standard of patriotism for our country. All those
quizzes that we had also put a light in me that we have to learn this laws and information about rizal and
his works in order to have that moment of history inside you.
