Quote

“Anything will give way to a sustained, persistent attack on your part.” — Robert Greene

Explanation

It is incredibly common, especially today, for people to forget the astounding impact
that high energy and relentless willpower have on reaching success.

This dynamic in its most simple form can be framed as a war of attrition—which force
will give in first?

Will our tenacity and energy to reach the level of success we set out to achieve dwindle
first? Or will the elusive goals we are relentlessly pursuing run out of routes to avoid
us first?

Such an analogy is simple, but it effectively paints a clear picture of the important
relationship between willpower and achievement.

With that being said, so long as we are relentlessly tenacious, refusing to give up no
matter the obstacles we face, the mistakes we make, or the failures we experience, our
success is written in the stars, unstoppable even.

Our goals simply cannot elude us forever in the face of such an unrelenting attitude,
and so it is inevitable that our deepest desires will be attained in time.

At this point, only our propensity for impatience—a trait that convinces us to think
about giving up out of sheer frustration—has the potential to prevent us from
achieving the levels of success we seek to reach.
