Announcement of Student Internships/Projects/Trainees

To realise the grand vision of our Hon’ble Prime Minister for Atmanirbhar Bharat, the Ministry of Heavy Industries,
Government of India is engaged in the development of Technology and Innovation Platforms to promote innovation in the
product design and development in the Capital Goods Sector.

drishti, platform at CMTI is one of the four platforms offering sponsored internships (4 to 8 weeks), project work to
undergraduate/ post graduate students (4 to 6 months), including the trainees to Graduate and Post Graduate freshers
(4 to 6 months). These internships are expected to promote innovation and practical problem-solving abilities among the
youth through hands-on working on real problems posed.

Internships are offered in physical mode only and to the final year undergraduate/ post graduate engineering students in
disciplines such as CSE, IT, ECE, EEE, Mechanical Engineering, provided they have the required academic background with
70 % or 7.75 CGPA and passion to work on the problems posed by the industries in the following fields.

 IoT and Smart Manufacturing

 Automation and Robotics
 Nanotechnology and Nano Materials
 Advanced Manufacturing Processes
 Design of Machines and Mechanisms

The students selected for the internships will be advised by the mentors, having an expertise to guide the students.
Internship has to be completed before 31st March 2023. Students who complete their internships will be paid stipend as
given below and a certificate of completion will be issued at the end. Post-graduate students receiving financial assistance
from the Government of India are not eligible for any stipend. However, they will be permitted to work.

Candidates should bring all their original certificates / mark sheets, College ID Card, Govt. ID proof, Valid Caste Certificate,
Aadhar Card, Bank passbook (Aadhaar seeded/mapped account (preferably SBI)), with a self-attested photo copy of each
of it and a recent passport size photograph along with the duly filled Application Form and on the following day, failing
which they would not be allowed to appear for the selection process/ interview.

Interested students can attend walk-in interview on Saturday, 17th December 2022 (@10:00 Hrs).
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Walk-in Interview and candidates are requested to make their own arrangements
for Boarding/Lodging.
CMTI will not provide any accommodation during the period of Internship/Project Work/Trainee.
Bonafide Certificate to be submitted at the time of reporting as per the trailing template.
