STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

I am G.BALAJI holding an Indian Passport No U1728847 wish to pen down my statement

of purpose to pursue my higher studies in UK. I have outlined my aspirations to study in a
foreign university along with my career objective and motivation to pursue Master’s in UK.

Educational Background

I completed my high school from St Paul’s Higher Secondary School with 72% in the
year 2016. Further completed my UG in B. com Commerce with 54% in the year 2019
from K.C.S Kasi Nadar College of Arts and Science, Chennai which is affiliated to
University of Madras.

My Expertise

I have been the Secretary of my Department Commerce Association in UG, which has
geared up my leadership skills. I have a working experience of more than 2 year in EXL
Service.com as Associate – Operations at Band A1. I am expertise in managing small level
business related to four wheeler sales. I’m also good in driving car for any long hours of
travel.

The reason I choose UK to pursue my higher education is that they offer students inspiring
teaching, excellent facilities and state of art research environment. In UK, education is all
about inspiring students to develop skills and creativity. Most of the degrees from the UK
universities are recognized all over the world. When compared to India, education in UK
stresses on providing strong practical experience in the relevant field. These are the major
reasons for my aim to pursue Master’s in UK.

My choice of University

I have chosen University of Northumbria as it provides wide range of courses with practical
exposure. It also provides internship which would give me a work experience along with
studies. It also provides high quality support for its students including personnel counseling
and peer academic monitoring.

My choice of course

I aspire to pursue Master’s in Business with International Management as I am highly

interested in managing a business on my own. I seek to gain more knowledge in the field of
business. The leadership quality within me is the main striking force to pursue my Master’s in
a foreign university.
My Future plan

After completing my Master’s I wish I would have gained all knowledge in managing a
business of my own. As I have an earlier experience of working in an organization, I aspire to
start a business of my own and become a job provider for others. Amidst the stress and
pressure in the current scenario, being self-employed is the best to have a decent living.
Hoping that my future would be a successful one.
