Statement Of Purpose

I would like to introduce myself as Vandana Sharma hailing from Tarn Taran, Punjab, India. My
date of birth is 5th June, 1998 and my passport number is N7373682. I wish to apply for M.Sc
Accounting & Finance at Kingston University London, UK. In this statement, I will elaborate
about my career goals, reasons for choosing this course, university and country.

Moving on to my studies, I completed 10th grade in 2014 with 75.5% and senior secondary in
2016 with 60%, both from the Punjab School Education Board. Following that, I earned a
Bachelor of Commerce degree with 74% from Multani Mal Modi College, which is affiliated
with Punjabi University, Patiala. Following graduation, I chose to pursue a career in education,
so I enrolled in the Bachelor of Education program at SD College of Education and graduated
with 71.8%. After completing my Bachelor of Education in 2021, I began working as an
Accounts Teacher at Sri Guru Har Rai Public School. I started working for this organization on
September 5, 2021, and I've been there ever since. To advance in my work, I opted to further my
studies in accounting and finance so that I could apply to multinational corporations in India.

I’m very well known by the eligibility criteria which I need to fulfill so, currently I’m preparing
for English proficiency and soon I’ll be reappearing for it. I wish to apply for a conditional offer
and later on I’ll provide my English test TRF.

The United Kingdom is a popular study abroad option for Indian students. Because of the

After deciding on a country, I looked into numerous universities before settling on the Kingston
University London. Because I believe that the pleasant and welcoming environment at this
university had an impact on me. This university is one of the most well-known in the London,
UK, with a focus on outstanding and advanced study. This university's course structure, which
was so well-organized and positioned according to my needs, really pleased me.

Now, I want to continue my studies as I have deep interest in my field and want to become
professional expert. Better understanding of subjects and practical training will help me
becoming associated with a company where I can utilize as well as enhance my knowledge and
skills for achieving career growth. M.Sc Accounting & Finance is 1 year course accredited by
Chartered Institute of Management Accounts. In this course, I will learn various aspects of
finance and management such as:- Advanced Management Accounting, Project & Relationship
Management, System for Accountants, Financial Strategy, Strategic Management, Risk
Management and others. My goal is to become a financial manager or chief financial officer at
prestigious Indian firms like Tata Capitals, Wipro, Accenture, or Infosys, and after completing
my course, I intend to return to India and apply for accounting jobs. As a finance manager or
chief financial officer, my salary will range from 10 - 15 Lac annually. Of course, it will grow as
my knowledge and talents improve. Learning from Kingston University London will advance
my career. I would be glad for the opportunity to study at Kingston University London in the
UK, which will enable me to expand my knowledge and develop my independence.
