PERSONAL STATEMENT – Suman

INTRODUCTION:

I would like to introduce myself as Suman, D/O Mr. Raj Kumar. I belong from
Haryana; India and my passport number is W4398231. My birth date is 07 March
1996. I am writing this SOP to state my reason for applying to the Bangor
university international college-Bangor.

ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

I have completed my secondary education from Govt. Sr. Sec school Prahladpur in
2012 and senior secondary education from same school in 2014. in 2014 I took
admission in Swami vivekanand Teachers training institute, yamunanagar and
earned Diploma in education in 2016. to enhance my computer skills in August
2016 started to learn computer education from National Excellence institute of
management & technology and completed the diploma in computer applications in
July 2017 with 72% marks.

In July 2017 I decided to pursue Bachelors degree from Maharaja Agrasen

Himalayan Garhwal University in Bachelor of Arts program and I got Graduated in
September 2020 with 61.9% marks.

PROFESSIONAL JOURNEY

With a bachelor degree in hand and handful knowledge of basic computer

education I started to seek for employment and with grace of almighty and a
few successful interviews I got selected in M/S Sawariya International
(Manufacturers & suppliers of export quality fabrics) situated in Panipat,
Haryana, India as an assistant sales executive. My main job duties in this
company are to Conduct research on potential clients or industries, to Co
ordinate travel arrangements such as booking flights, making hotel reservations,
and arranging car service and to Maintain relationships with existing clients by

providing customer service and answering questions about products and

services.

WHY NOT INDIA

I made my research on to increase my skills and learned that studying a master

degree from a reputed institute will help me better to reach the new heights in my
professional career. I visited websites of many universities and took advise from
my seniors regarding the university in which I was going to make my application
in order to study further. In my research I learned that major universities in my
home country mainly focus on the theoretical aspect which make it difficult for any
one to learn effectively and implement the concepts for practical use when needed.
So, I decided to look for international destination for the higher education. As I had
completed my previous education in English language, I thought that I would be
easier for me to study in an English language speaking country and also UK, USA,
Canada and Australia are the top countries in terms of education

WHY THE UNITED KINGDOM?

I performed some research on the United Kingdom and uncovered some

fascinating information. It provides a secure learning environment for international
students as well as a diverse selection of educational options and services.
I preferred the United Kingdom for a variety of factors, including educational
excellence, institution rankings, course types, people's behavior, and so on. The
United Kingdom's universities are well-known across the world. Their degrees are
respected by every academic professional and employer on the planet. And I

believe this is because the Quality Assurance Agency of the United Kingdom
(QAA) reviews UK institutions on a yearly basis to assure the quality of education
they provide. The United Kingdom is home to some of the world's greatest
universities. Furthermore, institutions in the United Kingdom provide a number of
scholarships to students who need financial assistance. The people of the United
Kingdom are often regarded as the kindest in the world, and they treat all
international students with respect. All of these factors influenced my decision to
study in the United Kingdom.
WHY BANGOR UNIVERSITY

In my research of many universities such as Bangor university International

college-Bangor, Birmingham City University, London Metropolitan University,
Edith Cowan university, Brunel University which offer Master of Business
Administration as master degree education I learned that Bangor university
International college-Bangor meets my expectations in terms of education, tuition
fee and Infra structure. Bangor university International college-Bangor is highly

ADMINISTRATION

This programme is designed to prepare you for future careers; you will learn the
principles of business & management in the context of the modern corporate
landscape, ensuring your abilities stay flexible and adaptive as the world changes.
The course combines hands-on work experience with creative approaches to
business and innovation to help you develop your entrepreneurial spirit. We
include as much hands-on experience and professional training as possible; you'll
tour businesses across London, learn from guest lecturers, and engage on job-based
projects, with options to intern and work for a year.

LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY

After deciding my course 1 term pre masters leading to Master of Business

Administration in Bangor university International college-Bangor I started to
complete the admission requirements and appear for PTE to prove English
proficiency on 6th May 2022 and scored 57 overall.

FUTURE PROSPECTS

After completion of my Degree from Bangor university International college-

Bangor in1 term pre masters leading to Masters of Business and management I will
be able to get employment in any corner of the world as the degree from Bangor
university International college-Bangor is acceptable all over the globe but, I have
planned to come back to my home country and seek employment here as being a
married woman I have many responsibilities towards my family which will force
me to come back. I have made some research about the possible employment
option after completion of this course and learned that I can get a job as financial
manager, management consultant, financial analyst and accounting manager etc. in
which the

average salary is 15,00,00 INR to 25,00,000 INR.

DECLARATION

I have not been refused any visa before, as this is my first time traveling outside
India. I do not have any major allergies or health issues that require monitoring
while studying in the UK. I am applying for a student visa, and I understand the
rules and regulations I need to follow while studying in the UK. I am aware that I
will remain enrolled in the registered course as a full-time student, I will maintain

good attendance in my course for each semester as well as remain enrolled in the
course that I was granted my student visa for in the UK.
